So Blizzard any plans to create a subset of forums for Classic at launch or shortly thereafter?

This discussion forum is a jumbled mess for anyone interested in a specific topic. WoW Classic is a completely new game with its own realms from BfA and any future expansions. And for a new player searching for information on a class that person is left sifting through a long list. Guilds are consistently bumping recruitment threads which would be easier to search like they are on the Recruitment forums.

You may have already thought about this and decided to do it at a later date. That’s completely understandable. However, I’d suggest the basics for Classic so that if you ever decide to reintroduce the expansions like Burning Crusade or Wrath of the Lich King you can add a Wrath or BC specific subform of a main forum.

I’d be happy with General Discussion, Classes and Guild Recruitment. I know having PvP, Raid Discussion, Guides/Support, and Realms would be helpful too, but as the game isn’t launching for another 90+ days why rush?

I imagine it would go hand in hand w/ limiting posting ability to active subs so likely a ways off just yet.

I have had luck searching Reddit for now, But I would love to see classic server forums before launch. Help people setup groups for leveling.

I wouldn’t mind a forum, although I wouldn’t be surprised if they just kept this one and converted it

Reddit is okay and I use it, but we have people who probably wouldn’t touch it. I’m hoping we at least get 4 subforms: General Discussion, Support, Classes, and Realms in the long run. Realm forums are important to the community and I think will flourish more on Classic than they have in the modern game.

I’d like to see server forums, like we had back in Vanilla. I wouldn’t mind a class forum. I feel like server forums would be the most useful overall…

nah class forum is more useful. in game is a server forum

Both are useful. And if you played Vanilla you know how useful and fun server forums were then.

I imagine we will have Classic Realm forums once the servers have been named and their list has been compiled.

I would guess that each Realm forum would have subsets.

I’m pretty sure anyone who works in creative these days would hate the idea but petition to resurrect the old website while we’re at it? In spirit anyway I mean obv responsive screens would need consideration.

How is that going to work if they decide to make BC servers? Also have to think in terms of the future as well. I’d say many hope to one day see BC, Wrath, etc servers.
