That was a thing back then. Smaller more regular populations can lead to those sort of things.
There was a time my guild would act as a neutral third party during guild negotiations even. Lol

It’s the same as retail tbh lol. I got 2 60’s and working on my 3rd btw.
Community is what made Vanilla great, that community does not exist on classic.

But unlike retail classic doesn’t have crz, so people you level with talk crap in trade chat with etc, people remember you and black list you. If you’re rude in dungeons or other places you get put on ignore and its hard finding a group.

Ah yes, the weekly bury our heads in the sand about the sucess of Classic thread.
They don’t sit there gloating about how great Classic is, lets avoid doing that here.

Nope not even close.
Classic Community has a lot of cross over with 4chan and other cesspool message boards.
There’s also a large subsection of people who never played Classic, but were fed the lie they need to be toxic to play Classic right.
So the behavior of Classic is not surprising.

Yup! Your as good as your word. On retail I can join LFR talk mad smack make everyone hate me, maybe even kick me for troll pulling. But I can just rejoin a group right after and no one would’ve ever known.

On my current server there are like 5 competent guilds on ally. So the basic rule for us, is just don’t be a douche and you won’t get the blacklist. You really can’t be a piece of crap on classic servers with small pools like ally skeram.

Trying to make Classic seem bad isn’t going to stop people from playing it. They play it because they enjoy it.
Why does this forum and /r/wow constantly have to gloat about how much better their version of the game is? If it was better you wouldn’t have to gloat.

You only get blacklisted if you are someone that isn’t fun to play with. Unless we are talking about pvp brackets. Oh lord, don’t even speak about pvp brackets.
Id say its out of spite for Classic and Private Server people spewing the same nonsense for years until they finally got Classic.

I joined a guild on Classic and the people are really nice. I buff strangers and get buffs back. People have been helping me do dungeons for free! I learned that some tanks charge a fee down there (not to carry, just to go with them) and that’s hilarious - I just /ignore those people.

Yes, I imagine being responsible for your actions and consequences for poor behavior sound utterly foreign and alien to retail players by now.
