Please change these to what retail has. Make the flight paths “Smarter” and more direct. This is one QoL feature I would love to have.

No. I really like how low to the ground the gryphons fly here, its fun seeing people flying, and seeing people while flying!

It’s actually an inconvenience that I don’t mind at all. It’s nice not to have flight paths every 200 yards like in retail.
Makes the world seem that much bigger… and makes my teleport spells more valuable.

I never said anything about how low they fly. I just want more direct flight paths. For example flying from Rachet to Org. You go from rachet to xroads, pretty much back to rachet then finally to org.

You know what’s really sweet? If you’re fast enough, you can buff people that are flying low enough.

If it wasn’t for some of the longer flight paths, I don’t know how I’d get the weekly shower in.

The world seems so much larger and more dangerous with less convenient flight paths. I vote no to more flight paths.

Blizzard, please remove flight paths, mage portals, warlock summons, and hearthstones and force players to actually run places themselves.

It’s one of the reasons I pay for the flightpath, to kick back and enjoy the view.

I’m for a lot of quality of life changes, but my personal pref is to not have this one. In classic, travel is more difficult and has a cost. I think this really contributes to people being out in the world. I like that there were occasions in early leveling where I made a decision to walk instead of fly because I didn’t want to spend the silver. I like that other people clearly made the same decision and were walking beside me on the road.
This won’t entirely last forever. As people start to hit the level cap and are flush with gold, that won’t happen in quite the same way. I will still see people running along beside me to various points of interest (dungeon entrances, etc…). I think it’s good for the game to have people out in the world.
I love many aspects of retail, but things like more flight points, summoning stones, and being able to queue for PvP from the comfort of your own city kind of took something away from the world.
Clearly you have never used a flight point in modern WoW. They are not ‘smart’ at all and take you out to Timbuktu and back before finally realizing, oh yeah, that is where i was going.
