I love WoW classic and I am currently playing on Whitemain Classic server, but I hear there maybe a Classic+ coming, not as many changes as SoD, but small changes to improve Classic.
Any idea when this might be coming out?
This is news to me tbh, my guess SoD will have to conclude or have a conclusion date announced before they release anything new.

Because fresh is a solid and easy mode way to boost player numbers; logic dictates near a quarterly earnings statement we will likely see that when the other content modes like SoD and Cata are at their most grim and C+ is likely a long way off.
Maybe next spring or fall?
There are less people playing classic era+sod wow than a single retail server lol.
You can’t get numbers for Era because blizz blocks the update to If-Pro.
Additionally looking at logs isn’t practical either because the culture of era is very different; no one logs on era excluding speed clear teams and the 3 sweatiest GDKP groups. Basically less than 1/10th of 1% of the population might log on Era.
If you played on whitemane you would know how insanely populated era is.

They don’t.
And there are several ways to identify the pop activity.
In all of them, Logs, battleground matchs numbers, instances on going etc era is way behind sod, which is way behind retail.
I have a rank 13 paladin in whitemane, things didnt improve in the past year.
there’s been no such plans announced.
From the moment I understood the weakness of retail, it disgusted me.
I craved the strength and certainty of vailla.
I aspired to the purity of the blessed game.

Once upon a time I told you guys “its not if but when” regarding classic 2019.

Classic+ won’t be better than classic vanilla in 2019. Just let you know.
The stuff in vanilla to keep people logging in/running around the world/playing is based on how hard/often to get gear upgrades or prepare consumes for the raid. If Blizzard makes new content (drops powerful gear so you don’t have to farm 50x BRD for your HoJ/ironfoe)or any changes (e.g., boons to secure your world buff, new ranking system to give everyone rank14) that would most likely change the gear progression and reduce your /played, then the game becomes worse (upon alive players). It’s very hard for Blizzard to design a good classic+ in 2024, it’s just not doable for current Blizzard. They suck.
If they really care about how alive the world is, they have to think about which designs could bring the people to log in and run around the map, instead of just logging in and getting summoned to raids. That’s retail/cata/SoD. Not the classic we want, or I want.
People who are crying about new storylines/raids/content may not understand this. Then SoD is perfectly for them, no need another real fresh.

Based on how SOD is going I do not suspect classic + is anytime soon, nor do I suspect it to retain the classic idea

Fresh is basically a sure thing; its not if only a matter of when.
Facts; SoD’s demonstrable illustration of what to expect dictates the best path forward is Perpetual Era and Every couple years 1 new fresh server.

Yep. Some of its most complained about aspects were fixed in tbc and beyond. a logical solution could be…TBC+.
Shaman/paladin rants. OKay…run the alliance shaman.
AV/AB honor farming. Rated arena (later bg) says hi. Keep on losing on purpose. that makes getting good gear not really likely lol.
Noting I have no issues with TBC+. One of my biggest dings of era 1 to 60 is no blood elves or space goats. Even with the later dreaded power of EMFH I clearly chose the power of waggle for my paladin lol.
Chinese agents announced in August that a new era will be launched globally in the fourth quarter, unless Blizzard delays

Did you actually know that Classic+ means added content that was supposed to be in WoW originally but was scrapped, added spells and abilities that we were supposed to have but didn’t, the R15 PvP rank for those who TRULY had no life, a longer time period in which to get the legendary staff, an added raid and two added dungeons, Quel’Thalas a zone, which oddly enough…still to this day is not used in game even thought is has been out since WoW’s very first patch.
Cuz I keep seeing all you people saying “Add Classic+, bring it in, bring it in”…and then I ask you people multiple times…what IS Classic +? Do you even know? No. You people don’t. You just say you want it but never once do any of you specify what it is.
