[Classic Era] Quest "Ancient Spirit" bugged

The quest “Ancient Spirit” is currently impossible to complete.

Steps:

  1. Accept the quest.
  2. The escorted NPC arrives at a river.
  3. The escorted NPC starts walking into the riverbed until it vanishes.
  4. The quest fails when the NPC goes out of range because of the behavior mentioned in step 3.

Expected result: The NPC crosses the river and the quest can be completed.
Actual result: The NPC goes “out of bounds” and the quest fails.
