Edit1: According to reddit, the PTR is in an earlier phase than current classic.
Only raids available currently is MC and Ony, and DM E/N/W is there too it seems.
Edit2: It seems the PTR servers are offline for now.

That has to be either for fresh restart, or server merge. My money is on fresh restart, since I sincerely doubt Classic+ will ever happen.

Hopefully it’s a fresh start server of some sort, I’ll roll something on there if so. I miss Classic and only didn’t play Era more because I just felt “done” but I have nostalgia for Classic already.

Not sure why people arn’t treating this like it’s big news. It’s pretty big news to me, been waiting for fresh classic for months!

they’re probably doing this as some kind of market test.
they want to check how many ppl are concerned and what they want to see on vanilla servers.

Perhaps because its a little more than overrated?
Abandon all the time you put in to start over only to reach a point where you have to start all over again? Not as exciting as some make it out to be.

I thought tbc would be the bee’s knees, esp being an arena player, but it didn’t have that same magic like classic launch did. The world feels so much more alive when everyone isn’t huddled in a sanctuary city (only leaving on flying mounts) and insta lvl 58 boosting isn’t a thing.
Personally I think a classic+ has infinite potential, especially if they tweak classes a bit or even add in abilities/talents from Wotlk or something

Boosters only came around after the first few months.
Bots arn’t part of the community, but they sure are fun to mess with. Would rather they weren’t there, tho.
