A lot of people replying in this forum haven’t played era recently or never fully cleared naxxramas.
WOW need to copy osrs and implement a polling option. What OP said is 100% correct on every single talking point. Yet the conversation is polluted with people that haven’t opened whitemane classic era in years.
So respectfully, unless you have fully cleared naxxramas or actively play era, please don’t dilute the conversation.

Raid bosses south of naxx have been nerfed in a multitude of ways.
I have this suspicion that we’re also using 2.4 (post nerf again) bosses.
Something about everything feels really off… I raided with a pug a couple weeks back and did AQ 40 and I know roughly what raid DPS values in 2019 yield what kill times and the pug I was in did like 35% of my 2019’s raid DPS complete output… and bosses were falling over in only a few seconds behind our kill times… I suspect we’re playing 7X nerf wow classic.
Tho this does bring up a point that makes me wonder why we even use WB anymore when everyone is geared, IMO it’s time to shift the meta to clean parses.
Reasons being that it would invigorate a new progression push on parses and clear times. Considering the PVP is a mere whisp of its former self we may as well try and make things interesting.
Hell, I would love to see a team of nothing but druids clear start to finish without WB’s; it should be possible, tho the consumes use in naxx would be wild.
Killing the bosses isn’t the competition/fun. Being an unstoppable meat grinder with 20 other warriors is fun. Competing on the lumberjack website is fun. If I wanted to prog/fight difficult raids, I wouldn’t be playing vanilla and I wouldn’t have cleared naxx over 100 times in the last year lol

I disagree with making world buffs repeatable and accessible. The playerbase has brought this threshold on in Era that you are REQUIRED to have them and the fact you can clear all content without a single world buff. The game wasn’t made with the intention of having full or even 1 world buff for every single raid that you did in order to parse on a sheet that doesn’t matter.
If nobody had world buffs it would actually set a new threshold of everyone’s so precious parses of ones without world buffs. I’m actually hopeful one day nobody is able to even get them anymore and if you want them it would be that rare occasion when a new player did level from 1. You don’t need world buffs to Clear any part of the game and Vanilla was never created to play it only to go for a pink number on another website not even tied to Blizzard’s game in itself.
The argument of “well it’s not vanilla anymore anyways” is ridiculous to me. Why change the game even further in a direction it wasn’t supposed to go in, in the first place. Boons and other changes were added to the game because the players forced blizzards hand on these, they weren’t added to the game for a quality of life. This is a want not a NEED.
I am for Blizzard re-releasing old events that had already happened within Vanilla and using any of the content that was previously in Classic Era. I think it would be great if they wanted to say lock MC, BWL, AQ, and NAXX, say for a month or however long, with opening them up every couple of months (or however long) just like a fresh start of a server. If you wanted to create a new character or start a new guild it would actually be like a fresh seasonal thing within Era. It would give players that chance to relive that fresh feel and incentivize them, AS WELL AS (for everyone needing world buffs for every raid you do) you would have a bunch of new players hitting 60 and turning in hearts/heads for a new world buff to drop. Players would be able to experience the AQ opening, Naxx scourge invasion and so on again.
I am a Vanilla purist diehard but I believe this would be great to keep that fresh feeling in Era without spamming Naxx on a fully bis character. It would still be completely unchanged and in the same realm of all the current rules that is “Era Vanilla” and would give players an incentive to gear within the previous raids. This would be much better than seeing a GDKP creator take his 7th warrior into Naxx with gold cap on him bypassing literally everything for the 6th time, going from wearing greens from SM and jumping to tier 3.

You saved yourself a lot of time making no paragraph breaks. Good job! But there are other wonderful time savers. Why use punctuation? Egyptian hieroglyphics has no punctuation. Ancient Sumerian clay tablets don’t use them either. Even ancient Hebrew has no punctuation. Paragraph breaks, punctuation, and even capitalization is just fluff that we just don’t need. Leave them all out next time.

I’m not actually in a guild. I signed a charter to help someone start a guild and I guess I forgot to leave, or the forums hasn’t updated it yet. But thanks for the change. It really does make a long post easier to read.
