Thanks for sharing this Warcraft 3 experience. One of my Classic friends, who quit because Classic Era was changing so much, loves Warcraft 3 and had mentioned things similar to what you say about Reforged. This pattern is sadly, as you say, inevitable with Blizzard games it seems.

Arenanet, makers of Guildwars 1 and 2, have 2 active developers still maintaining and fixing bugs for Guildwars 1, which sees more players than WoW Classic Era (vanilla).
It has no subscription fee and Iâm still playing it after all these years. Itâs had a revitalization of sorts lately. It still stands as one of, if not the, only big title multi-class (dual-class where you can switch your second class in town) MMO/CRPGs.
When I logged in recently and saw how even an old outstanding cosmetic glitch was fixed, I was amazed.

Yep, auto-dismount and shape-change for one, never a part of Vanilla or even Classic originally.
Agree that the change in client caused all of this to alter Classic. Guess âwarts and allâ didnât last, eh?
We never got anything close to vanilla and they told us as much from the start. Little late for sour grapes.

I can help you signet that on Perdition Rock. The hydraâs around there can definitely be annoying with all the Meteor and Meteor Shower casts.
If youâre using henchmen instead of heroes, I already understand your issue - thatâs brutal as hell with them there.

You are absolutely correct there, I tried with the Henchies and they just get demolished. And of course, my Ele gets interrupted every cast attempt haha.
That would be awesome to team up for some signet capping! Been a long time since I did some GW1. Which WoW can I find you on? I tried you on Era but got the invalid player message. Iâm on Bloodsail Buccaneers on Classic Era (Alliance) as Servius and Vizz.

Yeah yesterday I cleared the entire Perdition Rock without issue. I have a Mez/Necro Hero team thatâs very effective. The Hydraâs usually donât even get to cast.
