For whatever reason, when I cast any of my hunter’s trap abilities, the trap, instead of simply spawning on the ground and being active, now spawns on the ground, plays a reversed version of the animation that plays when a trap is disarmed, and is then registered as being on the ground after said animation. As a result of this, trapping in PVP has now become noticably weaker and sometimes enemies who I would have otherwise would have been able to trap before might now get away. For instance, if I scatter an enemy with 2 seconds left on my feign death cooldown, wait for it to come off of cooldown and then use it, then place a freezing trap, it will likely grant my opponent a big enough window to get away before the trap registers as being in the world, due to the now increased animation time. Whereas before I would have been able to do this easily. This is ridiculous and classic era should not be having abilities or balance altered in this way, whether intentional or not. Please fix
