Was just wondering if druids are any good at leveling on era, I have a 20 druid and I just stay in bear form most of time is that a good way to level or do I have to use catform I want to tank so I dont really want to take the cat talents.
I recommend checking these out if you haven’t already:

Just follow the regular feral leveling talents. Tanking dungeons should be fine with those. You can respec later. Solo cat will allow you to kill mobs faster although that’s best with single mobs.
Once you become proficient with form shifting and ensure you got a good talent tree that supports that, druids are very versatile, especially in a WPvP format.
Yes, undeniably. Their 30% outdoor cat speed is amazing, along with travel form.
If you haven’t locked yourself into professions yet I would recommend taking up enchanting for a little while just so that you can craft yourself the Smoking Heart of the Mountain trinket (requires 265 enchanting skill to create). I almost exclusively play my druid as a fat bear tank and he still has some of the cat talents simply because of the QoL they add for solo play. Theres a fair amount of wiggle room for distributing the last handful of talent points. You absolutely do not need every last mitigation talent to effectively tank as feral in Classic.
I carry around the 3p set bonus of t1 gear and am specced 3/3 (+75%) into Improved Thorns just cause I like nice oomph it provides for lowbie levelers. This synergizes very well for BM hunters’ pets. 5/5 Unleashed Fury bumps up their pet’s thorns damage by 20% and if they keep their pet fed and ‘Happy’, that’s another +25% to the thorns. Beastial Wrath then gives the pet a temporary +50% to all damage, all of which stack with my t1 3p set and druid talents. Mobs will be hitting themselves for nearly 100 damage each time they take a swing at the lil bugger. Bonus points if you’re an orc!
Feral is one of the best leveling specs due to very little downtime, several options for increased movement speed and several tools to deal with and survive accidental overpulls, etc. Cat and bear specs are virtually identical - when in doubt while leveling take a cat talent (except shred energy reduction, useless when leveling or tanking) because bear is so powerful and doesn’t need any assistance with threat or additional armor until raiding.
Beyond that… well dammit all, hate to say it but Despitebeing is spot on. Especially re: Heart of the Mountain. You can opt for blackhands breadth instead for ubrs quest and avoid the Mark of Tyranny trap.
Playing feral as only a cat or bear is crippling yourself and your potential as Druids shine when they get to swap in and out of bear tanking, cat dps’n, elf/hamburger form healing/decursing.
Leveling wise though multimobs and heavy hitter melees are best confronted as a bear and single targets/spell casters are best delt with as a cat imo.
God tier and seriously fun, one of the most fun classes by a mile…
Also pack some resto gear in addition to some tanking items; the core abilities are plenty for dungeons.
