You think you do but you don’t, though.
Level 30 beta dueling has nearly double blizzcon finals viewers.

Have you ever had a dream that you, um, you had, your, you- you could, you’ll do, you- you wants, you, you could do so, you- you’ll do, you could- you, you want, you want them to do you so much you could do anything?
its like saying justin bieber is better than metallica cuz he gets moar views / radio play
toxicvirgin, that was the stupidest thing ive ever read
someone ban this idiot
No its more like metallica [a classic band] reunites and sells out a massive venue and takes away airtime from current pop/mumble rapper stars.
Do you even analogy bro
Didn’t method orange vs the move final have 120k
global finals was about 120k
but yeah classic owns can’t wait for august
Classic tourney hit 201k viewers today, so close enough to double.
It’s pretty easily over 150k right now.
The point is even low level pvp in vanilla is obviously interesting to people.
Just because it doesn’t have arena doesn’t mean the pvp experience will be terrible.
Classic is gonna bring back a bunch of subscriptions from people who gave up on live, no doubt
Have to say I wish it were possible to look at in a vacuum without the 80k people who would watch asmongold and sodapoppin even if they streamed taste tests on ice cubes from the tapwater in different states
very true
but look beyond those 2 and see the wow section.
every streamer is at an all time high in veiwer count/sub count since beta
many of them have many, many times what they ever had with retail
and the thing i have noticed more than anything is how interactive chat is
and how interactive the streamers are with thier chat
it’s a really chill/fun experience to be in those channels
just my .02 copper
TROLLGODX will beat them all
People keep throwing out the question of “How are you going to enjoy Vanilla after the nostalgia wears off and you realize the endgame content isn’t there?”.
This sort of thing illustrates to me that (1) Arenas were never the primary reason we fell in love with WoW in the first place and (2) As Drexia pointed out, there’s still an engaging, albeit completely different PvP experience to be had in Vanilla.
For everyone complaining it’s slow, just wait until max lvl with T2+ gear, will be a lot faster paced. World PvP was the thing that made me fall in love with PvP as a whole in the first place, who cares if it’s imbalanced there’s so much room for creativity (i.e. jumping off of cities, using weird spot in the environment, calling for backup, etc.) and so many unexpected elements. When you get camped by 15+ people it just heats you up and forms intense rivalries imo.
It’s kind of funny watching the person who’s currently dueling gain like 10k viewers for their duel.
Stop you’re going to scare all the folks that are worrying about retail dying in August.
So much this, I fell in love with WoW because of the RPG long before arena dropped. Sure, arena was my main priority a lot of the time, but I would be perfectly find just slaying folks with my friends in big wpvp groups or in bgs, not to mention the server communities.
Ill be exclusively ganking people and doing battlegrounds. And ill only come back to retail for arena if there are people queueing. If people arent queuing/if blizzard isnt balancing arena im done
This is what gets upvoted now? The cheekiest shiitpost some rtard spams within the first 3 posts? Dying arena forums turning into dying BBmisc before my eyes.
Joke went over your head, highly unforch.
