Classic creativity

Original Classic wow is both known for its past renown creative players and all that sweet, sweet, Classic WoW game play.

What are your favorite OG Classic WoW external creators?

I rather enjoyed Penny Arcade back in Classic; they have been around a long time and were actually providing me with laughs before Vanilla, but one of the other threads in this forum reminded me of those awesome comics entirely by accident.

Behold, the reason for TCG and micro-transactions!

A fine example of Classic WoW creativity in the modern age.

That’s crazy that it’s the actual game graphics used in that video… The editing must of taken ages to get right tho!

This beauty is from Oxhorn, truly an epic series.

Can’t remember the site or forums that had a ton of pvp videos of wow. I watched the beta videos from nurfed. But outside of the game content. The wow pure pwnage video, but I think that was after vanilla.

I feel like it was… Warcraft Movies? I know it was super popular until early~ Wrath for PvP.

Yeah, YouTube kinda killed most video share sites and as a result harmed the quality of creativity with their censorship and DRM garbage

I go over all the old videos and video content sites here:

You might be thinking about Machinima.

Oxhorn was very funny

Warcraft movies, complete with Linkin Park / Limp Bizkit / Papa Roach / Disturbed music overtop of the PVP videos lol

We’ve lost a lot of it, but my favorite content creators of vanilla days were writers on our realm - fan fiction, I suppose it should be called. One of the most impressive, to me, was “In the Hand of the Scourge” by Gerd. I don’t know if someone out there still has an archive of it, but that was just one of many amazing stories written by Sentinels US roleplayers.

There were some animated machinima I think it’s called that were surprisingly well written.

One I remember from the Very early TBC era was tales from the past 3, it was about the WC3 story of Arthur’s and truly a better story than what Blizzard came up with for Wrath’s official story line.

Some of it was a little over dramatic, but that’s something that’s typical in a fan fiction.

There were a few other movies made that really were truly epic.

I think the best of them may be illegal danish super snacks.

I think it might have been that one was some odd name that I had no clue wtf it ment at the time.

Actually started listening to bands such as Adema and Ra just cuz of those videos.

I looked up those bands just for curiosity sake… Actually darn decent!

I saw the Penny Arcade comics from the Vanilla WoW strategy guide before I even started playing the game. That strategy guide was so cool.

Their comics were epic! The first time I saw them was because of Quake 3 arena mods that were something anyone could DL for free and play the dickens out of.

Gaming on PC in the early 2000’s was so damn good. Nothing today even comes close, the variety and quality is unmatched by anything produced now days.
