I feel like that should be a thing.
I second this. Even though search feature works wonders it would be nice to not have to sort through classic / non classic threads for each class.
We need class forums.
This is a good idea. Lots of class questions going around in this forum and in-game.
Edit: Gives people a chance to write and sticky tips/tricks for classes, too. Lots of new players who can use the help.
wish this had more traction.

So glad we get have the “find old friends” forums that no one I knew uses.
Would be cool, but I have a feeling it would get rather cluttered as a forum as people can already google about their class to read guides, and other researched topics. Classic Classes have kinda been min/maxed to death over the last 15 yrs so there is very little to be discovered now.
Well right now if there is a class question it gets swallowed up in Classic general.
Each game has always had class forums.
Bump for this.
Also, @Ordos, is right classes have been min/maxed to death in the last 15 years but aren’t 3/4 of the complaints on this forum about how the Classic meta isn’t Vanilla and we are seeing all sorts of new combinations and ways of playing?
Sure, guides are available to min/max but that isn’t as much fun as talking with people about how they are approaching the game this time around. Especially if they are playing a familiar class a different way.
I feel like I agree with you.
Theres a surprising number of “new” players in Classic as well as a bunch of folks who haven’t played vanilla at all.
What does that have to do with what I said?
Just use the one for the old game. Nobody is using it anymore now that classic is out
We definitely need class forums for Classic.
Having a discussion with people can be a lot more valuable than just looking up a min/max guide. A lot of the guides are pretty lopsided towards meta when meta really isn’t “that” important. So it can be discouraging to people who want to do something like play feral druid or ret paladin, etc.
Being able to have a dialogue with fellow players gives you a chance to talk about things that aren’t covered in guides or are glossed over.
That’s more valuable to newer players or players who didn’t experience vanilla.
100% agree!
Maybe, but from what I’ve seen on the forums it’s a conflicting mess of opinions with little facts to back them up, then you can swirl in a lot of trolls, raging hormones, and emotional bias into the mix. Makes it hard to trust on who is right or knows what is what. Guides on the other hand survive on their ability to be tested over and over for truth and efficiency. They even do offer guides on Ret, Feral, Oomkin, etc with a higher degree of trustworthiness that could not be found in a large public forum like WoW.
EDIT: And this is just leveling guides, not talking about end game raid builds.
I’ve found many of the leveling guides to be absolute trash.
I would love to see some Classic Class Forums, and even more so if they are full of trolls, raging hormones, and emotional bias!
100% agree. I asked this also about 3 weeks ago. Let’s keep asking. Class forums would be a blast. We could discuss min/max… Or even better, discuss oddball builds.
