I checked live and it’s fine, but today logging into classic, the character images are not showing up. The other UI is still there, but I cannot select anything since it’s just black where the characters used to be.
Any ideas before there is a 10k queue?
UI reset not sure if character undelete is setup for classic but u can try that as well.
Yeah I’ve tried relogging a few times. I can click the menu buttons, even shows character creation characters but my character list and the character preview images are all black. So I can’t select any characters I’ve already made.
Do you use any type of program that would have an overlay (such as Discord)?
I have this on 3 accounts right now, all the same. After getting through queue, just see the black character screen, with no characters loaded at all. nothing to do. Have tried to relog a few times but same result.
You can try a full UI reset https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/7549 and try the toon undelete option see if classic is set up.

Just so were clear a FULL UI reset is either delete/rename wtf interface and caches not just one.
I have the same problem now. I logged in to one toon to retrieve mail for a few minutes and put things in the bank, then, I couldn’t log out or quit game. So I did a task manager force close.
Now I have a black screen, no characters showing, can’t get in and not happy! There have been lots of posts about this, I am on Oceanic Remulos and I have read lots of people posting but I don’t see any resolutions.
Do we need another PVE server?? Or can you just fix this (yes I know we are Oceanic and are a pain to you guys on a different time line, but this is a MAJOR error people are having and can you please fix it.

The best place for this would be bug forums where the QA team can look at it while CS is great for alot of stuff this is probably better off in bug forum.
Can anyone create a toon on Remulos?
This is caused by the server’s lagging severely. You do not need to reset your UI… Blizzard need to fix the server side for this to change.
There seems to be a bunch of posts in the bug forums id suggest adding ur voice to the threads there.
I’m getting this same issue, had this yesterday and eventually the characters load after restarting the game a bunch
