They have this little tight knit circle discord filled with racism, toxicity, basically everything you’d except a group chat of middle schoolers to have except they are all grown adults.
They use the discord to doxx/try to out/gangstalk anyone that goes against their narrative on these forums. If you post here frequently enough, you are brought into question on their discord and they attempt to identify you and link you to any existing drama or issues, or simply flame your rating at the end of the day while laughing at you in the disc.
Classic chars throw a wrench into those plans. That’s why they are so heavily against it.
A lot of this is the way it is due to a certain TOXic death knight. Along with a certain heckin dog warlock who is no longer with us fortunately due to a perma related to the aforementioned activity.
