I would love Cata Classic. I loved that expac as someone who primarily doesn’t raid. Dungeons, leveling, zone revamps, combat, PVP, music and the SW/ORG revamps were all outstanding.
Personally, Cata is when I started to play a lot more WoW.
NO to Cata Classic. The new redesigned world is in Retail. The grand majority of Cata content is still in retail. So this one time, “go play retail” counts as the response.
The talent changes and further reduction of class identity lead me to quit cata. Plus the deathwing fight is like you’re popping his back pimples then trimming his nails.
I would like to see cata. Wrath was fun, but the wrath babies want it to stop at wrath. I want to see at least cata, so wrath loses it’s playerbase like classic did.
If they released cata classic it would be the final nail in the coffin to kill classic as a franchise. Why would anyone want to play the expansion that led to the rapid downfall of wow?
Classic is my favourite iteration of the game, I see the appeal in tbc and wotlk but going beyond that isn’t really classic, it will be smaller than som.
That’s the point. Cata will kill the playerbase of wrath, then it can die out. I’ll mention that it will help stock prices, albeit temporarily. Just to help promote the higher ups to push it.
