Old school twinks. If I remember correctly pvp in bgs were in the brackets of lvl 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60. I had a lvl 30 twink hunter(that was the highest lvl in the bracket not lvl 29) I had aim shot and owned face. They changed it at some point to the brackets 11-19(or is it 10-19?) 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60. Then they changed again I believe later. I have a question though. When did they change it originally? Was it in classic later patch or was it in a later expansion? I would love to have my lvl 30 hunter back, I really pissed when they took it away from me. Did a lot of work in dungeons and spent gold on a good bow and other gear. IMO was even more intense in bgs then level 29(because of the lvl 30 talent and skills). If you remember when they changed it let me know I’m super curious.
It was changed from #1-#0 about half way through Vanilla, I think. It was to keep the highest level of BGs to 60’s only, that way your team didn’t get loaded down with a bunch of 51s or 52s.
Best twink bracket is 49s. Not sure why it wasn’t played more, imho.
My preference was for 39. There was this last push to get some pvp fun before the grind to 60. That’s how I thought about it at the time. That’s how I did it anyways.
I liked the 49s because you had a mount and you had your 31 point talent which was so vital for a lot of classes.
I can respect that. Maybe we’ll do things differently this time. It’s definitely worth thinking about.
I just read it thank you. Was looking everywhere for it lol. I personally don’t like how it is now, but everyone else seems to like it and I guess that’s good. Seeing how they are using 1.12 I will never see it again. Such a unique experience. Level 60 pvp here I come! Thanks again for that link.
