So theorycrafting has been done to death on Vanilla. However as you're trying to get those pre raid bis pieces it can be overwhelming.
Anyone know if amr is planning on doing a classic site and addon?
I think this will really help new players plan out and tweak their gear.
A few Vets that haven't played in a decade could learn a few things from this as well.
All in all this could be very helpful for the community.

There is nothing overwhelming about classic.
If it has higher stats, it's better. If you are unaware of hit ratings then your dps never mattered in the first place.

There is still tweaking after hit cap.

Math and sims have not actually gotten more sophisticated over the years; the game got easier to sim, this is why back in Wrath when these cancer sites became more popular they were still considered a joke because that's how complex and diverse the old talent trees and stat system actually is.
Even now, those dim sites are only good for ballpark figures, only intended to get you close-ish, and they're often wrong.
Perhaps it's time to just theory craft your own character.
AMR is a trash heap that steals the work of others and claims it as there own. Icy Veins is probably worse though.
