Why would anyone, premader or not, play it unless they found it fun?
Verdict is in: it’s not much fun.
Yoggy is on break from the game. Not sure if Cele’s running.
I haven’t seen the usual people, pugs take up lead as best as they can, during the day, classic ashran feels like only one BG is running.
Lots of new players based on the chat and the first timer questions.
I don’t like it, it’s pve. Booooring! Good for books though.

How is it PVE? there’s plenty of PVP happening usually team fights either on road or at events.
Ashran is failed content for people that don’t know whats going on in the game. It isn’t good or fun, and it never was. That’s a fact not an opinion.

This “fact” oddly sounds like an opinion to me.
Classic Ashran is endless BG where you can fight for hours, I have lots of fun bringing many alts into it, and forget myself in this BG. Players rotate in and out, But often see familiar faces.
You can spend the whole game pushing road back and forth or fight over events, or even padding the scoreboard with billions of damage!
The power changes hand frequently because of players rotation.
So much fun! The best is not having to spend time in queue and get straight to PVP.

The first epic battleground premade experience I remember running into was back in Shadowlands, when a guy named Gingerbeast was specific queueing Ashran and streaming it. It was kind of exciting.
This was epic Ashran though. I never really understood the appeal of Classic Ashran. In fact, the few I tried were very negative experiences due to a worgen hunter that would sit in there for 10+ hours a day treating /rw as a personal diary.

I used to love ashran. I had a lot of good fun there, but in 2025 its kind of boring. I got as many achievs and killed as many horde as i could in there until 2024. Met alot of fun regulars and had alot of epic battles. I even made a horde panda for alliance that still need the nemesis. My garrison ashran toys don’t work, there’s no new achievs. i haven’t gotten any type of random pvp achievs or rewards since legion so theres that too. If it became fun again, id make time for it.

I see nothing wrong with that. I might be a bit guilty of overstaying my welcome in Ashran Classic.

I use to have hateful whisper SS’s from that dude and his cult following after I had him afk kicked out of an Ashran last year, when the dude needed to use RW for every little thing he wanted to talk about. Good times.
He used to report people out for stupid stuff, then he played victim when he got silenced. it is what it is. i hope he’s good now

I could talk for hours how much I love classic Ashran.
- It is a playground filled with wacky abilities and items.
- You can spend hours with the same characters.
- The war can always shift in your favor. There are multiple objectives making it hard to truly dominate the map.
- Unlike in other BGs where it’s competitive, here people are more chill and sociable.
I just had an impromptu duel with an Orc prot warrior just yesterday. We both walked closer to each other. Bowed, and started whacking at each other liked named NPCs up until a rogue jumped in. He tried talking him off before I died. He then bowed to my corpse.
Brought the biggest smile to my face.
