How about a classic arena for classic wow but without ratings and we have npcs in major cities that teleport us?
What it is, is a battle royal for the arena chest at 3 6 9 12 am/pm but instead added with a queuing system OR maybe not for the chest so instead it’s just an all out battle of every man for himself of 5 players and make it that you have to 1v1 the enemy inside a small area that stops you leaving with a barrier and you can see everyone else fighting their enemy in thesame arena and then when you beat the enemy inside the locked barrier. The barrier opens until the next best person so you fight the winner of the arena and you can see him fight while you fight your fight or 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 like on retrowow.
Maybe keep the arena grand master and gurubashi chest as something you have to physically FLY to so it’s original and pristine. But make it that you can queue up for it as long as it’s not for the chest.
And exactly thesame as in the normal game but in major cities we have a queue npc. It works exactly like how you fight in gurubashi and dire maul arena.
So a queuer for classic arena 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 or everyman for himself for the chest in gurubashi arena. But I wouldn’t do it for the chest. Keep the chest something you must fly to for effort.
Duels are boring and 1vs1 arenas are more fun. Being able to fight your own faction or not. So the only change would be to add a queue up teleporter in cities.
Classic Arena would be different from tbc arena. Thats all. So we have classic arena already in the game. But just more accessible with queues. Exactly like the dungeons being more accessible by summoning stones.
Such wasted talent. I mean how many of you actually fly to the arena? I’m there all the time and no one is there. Retrowow really did a great job with theirs.
When I was 17 playing wow in 2006 I always imagined the cage in gatgetzan was meant to be a combat arena and I was scared to go in there incase someone was there. You should make it that if anyone enters it they can be flagged and kill players without the guards attacking for the fun and we can zone into it so no one gets cheap shots and you can get faster ressurections.
This is just an alternate new idea. Imagine also being able to queue up as an arena spectator sitting in gurubashi arena on a chair for bidding on gladiators and watch players fighting like in pay per view and we can bid on them exactly like bidding on cage fighters. And we can be the spectators in the dire maul arena and we can bid with the ogres next to us seated about who’ll win the fight and if we win the npc dire maul ogre pays us and gets angry. There can be a dialogue he does with us and we have many buttons and a camera of the two players. We have many buttons like - player loses to execute you can win 20% more gold etc This can entertain bidders so it’s like an upgraded bidding system compared to auction house That last idea is not necessary but just an idea for people who enjoy bidding in auction houses and is just to help Blizzard because I care about the game.
