So allegedly a survey was sent to people with questions about WoW Classic, with questions that are suggesting a Classic+ is in the works. Like there were questions if Season of Discovery felt more like Classic or Retail, questions about adding new zones, opening Shamans and Paladins to the other side, if a new class should be added, and even a questions about adding new races.
Something interesting with that race question was how High Elves were mentioned. Which was followed by the thought of “If we have playable High Elves in a Classic +, does that mean we’re getting them for Midnight”?
After all, I can’t help but feel it would be weird to have a new playable race on a Classic +, that is not present on retail.
Now I don’t know how legit this survey is, but I became morbidly curious on how other people would react to this one.

I think I got this survey but don’t remember the questions (and agreed not to share them even if I did). I guess it’s because I played classic cata and wrath and TBC, but a lot were about SOD so I couldn’t answer.
I did mention something I wanted to see was servers left in each expansion with free move-up cloning at any time, so people can move up when they want rather than being chucked into the next one. I guarantee a perma wrath server and perma mop server will make them more money than chucking people into cata/WOD did/will. Hopefully they listen.

WELL CURSE ME!
i just learned FF14 might coming on mobile…(via the video)
Imagine the meltdowns if Classic got playable High Elves before retail.
But I am actually inclined to believe this, because there has been some rumors of High Elves becoming playable in midnight, in some form. Making them playable in Classic then make sense.

That’s interesting, Blizzard is probably taking inspiration from Turtlewow who has high elves for the alliance.
Perhaps the High Elf Allied Race will be available for the Midnight expansion.

What would High Elves bring appearance wise that Void Elves and Blood Elves do not already cover? Are we really asking for another reskin. This is how we got three dwarves.

We’d be better served combining Void Elves and Blood Elves into a single neutral race rather than making a third elf race with customization options that really should have been available to existing races instead.

One more elves. I want playable Haranir.
Oh, and nelf Worgen.
Helfs already exist in Retail. They do not exist in Classic.

i don’t know what a hairnair is
nelf worgen should be fine. class/race restrictions are dumb!
Yeah, Midnight’s elven reunification could allow the elves of Quel’Thalas to become neutral.
Haranir are the cave elves we meet in TWW.
They’re the Na’vi of WoW.
ah, got it.
i just think there’s too many elf already. we need more customization options, not more races for every sub-sub-subfaction that differ from the others only by their eye color or length of their earlobes or whatever.
