I want the rez macro to rez on mouseover over portrait as well as if I mouseover the corpse itself… but it no worky

I’ve tried: dead, exists, I just can’t get it to work.
Macro’s correct, do you have it bound to a mouse button or a keyboard key?
Keyboard key, think I have it on 9. I just tried it earlier hovering my mouse on someone’s corpse (not in party, yes they were online) to try and rez them and it did nothing 
Try this macro and triple check that the macro’s on your bars. If it still doesn’t work in-world try enabling friendly nameplates and see if that makes a difference.

It works in party/raid when hovering over a player frame but still isn’t working on the actual corpse itself for some reason
Also, is there a way to fix heal mouseover macros so they don’t try and heal things like totems? I tried “,nopet” but that didn’t fix it
Oh also, what does the empty brackets do? I’ve been trying to find a good classic macro guide, source, repository but the ones I’ve found so far are incomplete or dated.
