What Class do you all personally think were the most fun during Cata ?
Demo looks interesting, but I never played lock back then. Please let me know what class you all are excited for and why.

Kinda Curious about Enchantment Shaman my twin brother played one and loved it, Kinda curious to give it a shot and see what was so fun
Though question but personally I really like Mage (not arcane), Warlock (not affli), Paladin (not prot) and Shaman (not enhancer mainly because its too weak which is also part of fun for me)
The worst is Rogue.

The hunters who were around in the pre patch remember the outcry at how absolutely horrible resource hunters were, especially in pvp. All the hunters hated it except the 12-year-old pet collectors who claimed over and over “Fox will fix it!” On top of that they said stupid crap like, “it just feels more natural.” 
No, Fox didn’t fix it. Hunters remained at the bottom of the barrel that entire expansion. Don’t know what happened after that because I switched to holy pally.

Honestly, everything feels better and smoother.
For example, rogues’ and ferals’ energy regen is scaling with haste.
Overall, Ferals feel super smooth comparing to Wrath/TBC iterations.
Prot warriors in dungeons are wicked. Thunder Clap spreads Rend. Uncapped!
Whatever it is you enjoy now the most in Wrath, you’re likely to love it even more in Wrath.
The only real exception to this rule is Paladin and Warlock.

IDK, I think the holy power mechanic made holy paladin in particular more interesting to play. In wrath, holy actually has a pretty big toolkit, but HL (with beacon and glyph) is just so incredibly strong HL bombing is the meta for a reason.

Hunter PEAKED in Cataclysm what are you talking about? Focus was game-changing and made Hunters actually playable.
Unless you’re one of those 4 weirdos that think Hunters should use Mana. We don’t count that as an opinion.

Warlock is better every way in Cata except Destro, but Destro was always the weakest spec until MoP.

Specifically Ret and Demo are the 2 Specs I’m planning to main
I remember TotalBiscuit playing Frost mage back in the day, I may give it a try to see how it is.
Demo is very powerful and will likely become S-tier at some point. However it’s the most ability heavy spec and one of the most complicated specs in the game. You’ll be using up to 13-14 abilities at least once per fight, and you’ll be going into melee range every time you’re in demon form. So make sure you’re interested in that style of play before you commit.
As for Ret, it will be powerful and a guaranteed A-tier spec, but it will also require managing Holy Power and upkeep on a couple short-term buffs. It’s a lot more involved than now.
If you like Ret’s current braindead borderline-afk gameplay of auto-attacks and pressing an ability here and there when it comes off cooldown with no regard, you won’t like having to actually use more than two braincells to play the spec in Cata. Fortunately BM still exists to appease those who don’t like thinking!

Rogue is peaked in cata. The playstyle is never again as good as it was in Cata. Sub spec is perfection.
My other favorite is Holy Paladin in cata. Its so smooth to play and twice as powerful as it was in wotlk. Holy Power was done right in cata (unlike the abomination that is Dragonflight holy power).

Enhancement is great in cata. It plays like a better version of wotlk Enhancement. Lava Lash actually hits hard in cata ;). They are also really good in 1v1 pvp in cata, very underrated.

I’m not certain on where Enhancement will fall into performance wise, but Cata cleaned the rotation up and made it overall much better.
I think the biggest change is that Fire Nova now erupts from all targets with Flame Shock on them (rather than your totem), and you can spread Flame Shock with Lava Lash to 4 targets at once. This gives enhance some of the most powerful AoE in game.
There’s a talent tree for it here (it’s a bit buggy atm but it’s warcrafttavern lol).
