Is there a List some where (even if its on multiple sites) that shows the Best Race to be to Min/max a classes DPS for each different expansion that WOW has had?
When Looking at the Faction imbalance (as it is now) is it atleast partially due to the fact that prior to any attempts as to stablize and balance the Horde to Alliance Ratio that the Horde’s Race’s had the Better DPS Racial’s (in general) to choose from at the time and so when people were debating to min/max there DPS that would inheriently go Horde and (when we had Profession DPS perks) Choose the Appropriate Profession?

Icy-veins and Wowhead usually have a list in their class guides to some of the better races to be. You might be able to check on Bloodmallet as well, but can’t remember.
I am asking in more of a thought game for myself to think like the top .1% that try to min/max there DPS for everything. I started back in Cata when people Min/Maxed there DPS by choosing what professions to choose that gave there class that best DPS perks.
tldr: you will get the most dps from the race that you want to play the most.
longer: realistically, race doesn’t really matter all that much. sure, some combos are slightly better than others, but the exact combo matters a hell of a lot less than a) whats meta that patch, and b) how good the player is. like we’re talking less than a 1% difference.
so ultimately, it comes down to playing whatever the hell you want to play.
the root of the current “imbalance” between horde an alliance has very little to do with pvp, and basically nothing to do with racials in the grand scheme, simply momentum. right around burning crusade horde started to get a leg up in raid progression, and ever since then if you wanted to “be a raider” you “needed” to roll horde.
didn’t matter if it was actually true or not, the people who wanted to raid heard it, so they rolled horde, ad the snowball grew.
wasn’t even that long ago where the default was “horde for raiding, alliance for pvp” before they got rid of the pvp specific gear.
hell, even on my server, which is well known for being “THE” horde rp server (which admittedly knocks it down in the global rankings for raids) unless things have changed, the best mythic raid guild was alliance side.
tldr redux: play whatever the hell race you wanna play, find a guild that is pushing the content you want, and if you out grow them, or they outgrow you, find a different guild. cuz ultimately your race really doesn’t matter a whole hell of a lot.

Most content isn’t min/maxed based on DPS added by a racial, as it’s usually negligible. The most effective racials for PvE are used for their utility more than anything else.
For example, Nelf characters can skip trash by aggroing, running ahead, using Shadowmeld, and dropping aggro that way, causing mobs to return to their leash locations.
Well simply, Dark Iron Dwarf for Alliance, Troll for Horde.
I am sorry if this is coming across Harsh but people are not understanding my question I am not asking about the current stat of the game wehre all the DPS Racial’s and the Profession DPS perks were just about gutted. I am Talking bout the stat of the game how it was like in Cataclysm, MOP, TBC, and wrath. Where People Choose what Race to be for there class that gave there class the biggest DPS Perk and then choosing the Profession that also gave there Class the BIggest DPS perks like how at one point Rogues would pick up LW and Skinning.

And you’re not coming across as harsh, by any means lol
your answer is based on the current stat of the game cause during Cata, MOP, Wrath, TBC there was NO Azerite OR Essences.
It’s hard to find a lot of that information archived in a by-expansion way, because most of the sites that have that information easily available update their information and don’t bother archiving it.
So many unfortunate apostrophe crimes throughout this post…
