Are certain classes or specs significantly better for Torghast? I stopped playing before 8.3, but I understand that certain specs were much better at horrific visions than others, and I’m wondering if Torghast will be similar.
I have not read anything from those with beta access one way or the other. Thanks!

torghast will favor any class
Any class that has strong soloing capabilities will be good in Torghast. Warlocks and Hunters are looking to be especially good at it.
It won’t be as relevant as Visions are, purely because Torghast is ridiculously easy.
Hunter of course, because we are still the soloing gods even after all these years.
If I roll a Priest, could I run it as Holy? Or, as a Resto Druid? Or even Disc or Holy Paladin?
I ask because I was thinking of maiming a healer in SL and wondering how gimped I might be in content outside of dungeons or instanced pvp. Thanks again!
you might be better off duoing it as a healer, at least in the upper levels, but you should still be able to solo your weekly.
The power creep of the anima powers will be very strong for any class, so play what you enjoy.
Anima powers make everyone crazy OP in Torghast.
My feral druid does well in there. Lots of AOE options and heals.
I did it a few times on my BM hunter but was getting overwhelmed and healing the pet wasn’t that great. Maybe a good pet selection is needed.

cleared every layer of Torghast solo without a single wipe
I would imagine its just as good as boomkin
druids have strong self-sustain and burst windows
I would imagine windwalker, warrior, and ret would also be strong at soloing torghast
