Class with hammers?

What class has the most hammers as weapons? Warrior? Paladin? Shaman?

Well shamans can’t use hammers last I knew, and unless counting in class specific ones from quests or tier it would be a tie between warrior, paladin, and druid, since they would be able to use them all.

In terms of hammers being a big part of their identity/gimmick…paladin is the best…followed by shaman. After that is just a warrior that likes hammers. The rest have far more minor use of them

Most Warriors ive seen use Swords or Axes

And Shamans are kinda whatever.

Besides using them, Pallys have Hammer of Justice, Judgement, Hammer of Wrath, and Hammer of the Righteous if you’re Prot.

You wanna get hammered, you gotta go prot pally.

Paladins. They a have abilities and spell animations with hammers.

Shamans use 1H mages, enhance can use dual 1H maces/hammers

But I’d say warrior or paladin, your stereotypical ret paladin swings a 2H hammer

Paladins probably use them more often than most others.

Shaman tend to use axes or fist weapons, Warriors end up using swords more often.

Shaman have always been able to use hammers IIRC. Doomhammer is a hammer so at least from Legion we’ve used them.

Druids can use them too, but tend not to more often. Other weapons end up being better.

Also: Priests. My priest ends up using a hammer more often as well.

well, they shouldn’t use 1h mages, they shouldn’t use anyone really, that’s just not nice, but especially not disabled mages

Ashbringer isn’t a hammer. Go play with your fiddly swords over there. Hammers are the domain of the shaman.

Well… I think all hammers are 1H maces or 2H maces.
So… Shaman, Warrior, DK, Pal, Druid, and I think Monk can use them all.

Now… There’s also the healer only Valanyr Legendary mace, so… if were going for sheer number of hammers usable then Pal, Druid, and Shaman would technically have the most.

If you look at legendaries AND Valanyr, I think Paladin would have the highest number available.

Of course Paladin can only use ONE at a time, while others can dual wield. Some maces don’t look anything like hammers, and some hammers are class abilities (Paladins throw LOTS of hammers),

So, there’s anguments to be made for different classes based on more qualifiers if you offer them.

If you want to be iconic with a hammer, you want to be a human or dwarf paladin, or a draenei paladin with the hammer in the burning crusade cinematic
