Sorta, I main Paladin it’s very important to know when to spend holy power and when not 2 based on builder cool down. Can u face palm it ??? Yes but to be efficient you must build and spend appropriately
well from now on just say frost because you want to tell the truth okay.
It’s a very basic builder-spender class.
To start, your only cooldown to manage is Avenging Wrath, which has a 2-3 minute cooldown.
As for the actual rotation/priority system, you can have a max of 5 Holy Power
Wake of Ashes generates 3
Blade of Justice generates 2
Hammer of Wrath is an execute ability used at 20% or less health that generates 1
Judgment generates 1
Crusader Strike generates 1
You have two Holy Power spending abilities
Templar’s Verdict is your single target spender
Divine Storm is your AoE spender
So it’s basically something along the lines of
Avenging Wrath
Wake of Ashes
Blade of Justice
Templar’s Verdict
Judgment
Crusader’s Strike
Crusader’s Strike
Templar’s Verdict
After that basic opener, you just go back to the top of the list and use the first HP generating ability that’s off CD. If using that generator will put you over 5 HP, use a spender first instead.
That’s pretty much it. It’s got to be the most basic, straightforward rotation/priority system in the game.
Frost Dk is your go to, but it’s not good damage atm, it works okay in mythic+, but not in raids. Obviously this could change with a simple buff. It is good in pvp too.
Alsso, there’s an addon that I DO NOT USE because im really really really good at the game, but for players like yourself it helps you with your problem and reduces your keybinds. It’s called GSE and there are prebuilt macros to input into it turning your DPS keybinds into 1 keybind. It’s very good for players with disabilities too.
so frost mage if he is a wizard, and frost dk if he is an ape.
Is he going to boost to 50 or start at level 1? The very simple classes get really boring to level as imo. Like I main a DH and it’s fun at max level but leveling one is the biggest pain.
Disc priest
Funny thing about this question and how people answer. Everyone defends their class (as they should) and argue its extremely difficult to get 100% out of their class.
I don’t think the OP is asking that. I think they are asking what class is easy enough to play @ maybe 80% (wild guess), just enough to have no problems in the world and able to do at least heroics without getting kicked for too low DPS.
FYI - I have played every class in game over 16 years and not an expert on any of them. I usually choose tank classes for leveling in the world to make it easy and try to get one with a good DPS spec / healing spec so I can run dungeons when I am forced to.
Yep. I tanked and healed for years and have played multiple DPS classes and I honestly think BM hunter is harder than most to play optimally in a lot of situations. But I don’t have a problem with people saying BM is simple because the floor is so forgiving.
You can handle a lot of solo content and competently keep up in group content using a teeeeeny tiny fraction of the toolkit. If you want to tackle gnarly elites with a million hit points, move your pet around like a real tank to control where enemies cleave, heal your pet, interrupt, and CC adds all while keeping up your rotation, it’s an intense, demanding experience that you simply can’t get from most other classes. But if you don’t seek out that experience, you’ll do a-okay with minimal effort.
ret is easier than demon hunter
Arcane Mage or beast mastery hunter.
frost has 5 buttons and the game lights up and tells you what to press next.
Bm hunter is as easy as it gets, I also consider unholy dk pretty easy to play.
easiest rotation arcane mage, easiest to play BM hunter
I just don’t understand how people can have this opinion when Frost and MM are easier than Arcane and BM respectively.
I’d say Arms warrior. They have a few conditional buttons that change their priority a bit, but the rotation aside from those conditions is fairly straight forward.
I have to agree that Ret is pretty dang easy to play…very straightforward and if you take all the passive talents it stays very easy. There is literally nothing to keep up with…just hit buttons when they come off cooldown and every 5th button or so you hit 1 of 2 spenders depending on if ya want AE or Single target…
very easy
Besides DH? Frost mage for sure. Frost bolt, cast lance on proc, press flurry on proc. There’s more nuance than that but there’s nuance to every spec.
Arms warrior was really forgiving when last I played it too.
Not BM hunter- don’t listen to these guys. Fewer rotational buttons to press doesn’t always mean an easier rotation.
Hunter is a fun class to start playing WoW on imo. Having feign death was great when I was starting out. Going out there and finding all those cool new pet skins is awesome too! MM would be my choice.
a bad bm hunter will always be better than a bad mm hunter.
If you want a whole class I would say overall all 3 mage specs are pretty simple, it’s just about timing and stuff.
