That right exept for Defensive Cd were pretty good there Karma/brew/diffuse magic/dampen harm and in war within we can go the dodge talent instead of dampen harm which gonna be Busted. But yeah WW need a Revamp talent/rework the only reason monk are good starting xpac is because of this we dont scale at all with any stats pretty much which is sad
Then you will be fine with the current shadow priest
Think before you speak. Any spec is fine for the casual content and PvP
Unless you are pushing for top 100 mythic raiding guild or pushing 25+ m+ or doing top end 3v3
" most of the other dps classes have this luxury "
" advocate buff for existing underperforming classes "
I didn’t forgot you, don’t worry. I’m just for " forget the nerf, up the others "
At this point, the RTWF is over, the M+ season is busted, so why nerf stuff and not buff other? We’re at the end of the expack , so why is it important?
Aug actually has garbage damage
And yet when you look at the logs they are present in like 99/100 top M+ runs AND mythic raiding.
They are a support class, their damage is supposed to be bad.
There is a year left in DF. If every class was performing on the level of DH (both specs), BM Hunter and Rogue everyone would be out of content in a month. They are way overtuned and making content a joke.
No clue why this is so hard for people to understand.
The thing is, the defensives are good in low/medium keys, in heroic raid, but im talking about in high keys, mythic raid defensives, dmg, atributes they scale so poor compared with other specs, and that happens kinda with the dmg too, monks start “ok” in first weak then not scale with nothing , while other specs just get god and more god with time, and wws just fall in eternal limbo very quick, is already happening… like all seasons.
They could do better balancing faster by just tweaking numbers. The BM bubble that popped is fine by me. I don’t want to play BM and if you showed up to raid so far this patch as anything but, people question your sanity.
The gaps are large this expansion, very large, worst I have seen in some time though they generally are broken every single tier. I’m disappointed in it frankly. There should be ideally 5% difference in specs depending on boss and mechanics.
Lazy balance is lazy and DH is broken, so the nerf they got was deserved. Same for BM hunter.
When I took a casual look at m+ parses for season one and two of this expansion the specs were pretty close, within 5% for 99.9 percentile. Wasn’t a close look and there were probably more significant gaps than 5%, but it was surprisingly close.
And it showed when playing. Top of the meters sometimes sometimes not. And if you got beat you got out geared or out played, not beat at the character select screen.
Unless those nerfs didn’t go through initially ( only done keys on Tuesday so far ) they really didn’t do much of anything. BM and havoc were still significantly gaping everyone.
Nothing got nerfed or buffed by more than maybe 4% with the changes. It’s unsurprising people can’t feel them given a good vault + crest upgrades could make up the difference.
Havoc supposedly got 12% whacks on 3 or 4 major damage contributors and a bug fix to it’s greatest contributor, but it looked to be just as strong if not stronger on Tuesday. ( in M+ at least )
Still only shakes out to around 4-5%, also the fel barrage nerf was targeted specifically at low keys. People play essence break in higher ones.
What makes you think that the Havoc nerfs were actually a buff?
Ya, and they haven’t put up a post this week… Given how similar this looks to season 3 of Shadowlands I’m starting think the imbalance is intentional. No idea what they think the benefit is. Can’t imagine season 3 of Shadowlands did a stellar job at player retention.
I’m super confused why balancing is still so difficult, doesn’t blizzard, use sophisticated Sims etc. And collect data?
Are they balancing based on actual potential numbers or are they balancing based on player performance?
If they are basing it on player performance, isn’t it possible that maybe instead of tweaking the numbers so that these classes which are not performing to the numbers possible might mean that the rotations and class design is the problem?
I don’t understand why a company with this amount of resources still struggles to balance in a meaningful way.
WW has a ton of offensive issues, but their defensive are even more important/good in high keys.
They can be targeted by boss 1 shot abilities almost indefinitely and survive them all rotating their 4 defensive CDs.
Hunters for example fall over dead on the second cast.
Wait, you guys get upgrades from vault?
Weirdly, it was not an issue when DK, Boomkin and other classes were in the same spot in previous expansion and were never nerfed.
