So they’re balancing from… broodkeeper? eranog? raz? because nobody plays demo on any other boss, so you’re just pretty much looking at Eranog, Raz, Broodkeeper

don’t design a class that does well in 1 minute bursts, then go WOW it’s doing well on 1 minute burst fights.

Hunter and Warlocks are balanced in a similar way in that sense they look at overall performance across all 3 specs. They expect you to switch between specs

Nope . Orange on heroic and mainly blue and purple for Mythic.
But I rerolled to a new class cuz hunter was really bad before 10.07 .
My SP parses are Still gray but I got my first green last week.
Actually wanted to switch back to warlock with my free boost that came with the expansion but now that they are nerfed, I’m gonna wait and see.

- Demonic Strength now increases the damage of Felstorm by 300% (was 400%).
- Dreadbite damage reduced by 10%.
If the intent here was to reduce the burst potential for Demo AOE, fine that would be understandable but you cannot do that without compensating for the impact to ST damage and the overall impact to our sustained AOE damage which is actually more like middle of the pack.
These nerfs need to be accompanied with buffs to ST and overall AOE, many to choose from - some ideas.
Buff ST - SB, DB, legion strike
Buff AOE - Felstorm, HOG splash, implosion, CD reduction on DS
Aura buff?? - Our ST and AOE could both benefit from a wide aura-based improvement
If you’re going to make a change ( in this case flatten the AOE spike ) don’t do it in such a way as to impact our ST and sustained AOE, that just creates more issues requiring further fixes in future. Make the change properly and fix the whole damage profile, both ST and AOE overall needs buffing. This change will nerf both, mind boggling ??

also this isn’t true either. your average median is 58.2 on mythic. on farm, might i add.
but none of that matters. what matters is that you keep saying “overall” when there’s only 3 fights that demo is at all relevant on.
How about reverting that unwarranted BM hunter nerf due to overwhelming feedback?
Can we get a explanation to why the Frost DK nerf? seems very uncalled for. A little insight would go a long ways, also if you could keep listening to the feedback from the community it would really help in you guess addressing the fundamentally wrong issues with the class/ spec versus just throwing out random numbers. I was excited hoping to see some much needed feel good buffs but you guys are just something special

Sometimes I’m wondering if you guys are really using brain when fixing class. demon warlock has been in D and F tier in M+ for 2months. When they just got better, you guys nerf it again, and the nerf is on the CORE SKILLS. Is it cuz of that 5% more dmg in raid? then WHY tf you nerf the aoe skills?
Once again, devs bullied into keeping hunter irrelevant. How dare they be anywhere near A tier for M-plus. Let’s be sure the people crying about Terros and Sennarth parses are happy. Can’t imagine why a spec that can move and maintain a rotation would have niche parses there. Lol… ridiculous. FYI- there’s a huge population of us that couldn’t give 2 sh*ts about raid. Raid is boring as hell. Nerf the raid damage. Stop making people who care more about keys pay for the whining of raiders.
And seriously… nerfing Frost DK, what are you guys smoking??
