Where are you getting this everyone number? From what I have seen, there was countless threads before this asking for a nerf. And everyone on my server LFG chat are praising it for the most part.

To nerf the survivability of tanks is just not making any sense to me.
Tanks are supposed to survive and mitigate damage. By nerfing this you kill the purpose of having a tank in group, if you can just swap it out for a hunter or warlock pet.
Sadly, the nerf that is intended to hurt those running mythic, will also hurt those doing LFR, solo content and or pvp.
If I enter a group I will just pull one mob at a time, if the DPS take my survivability, I take their AOE spam.
Yea the balancing is way out of whack. This is z good start but much more needed

Tanks are supposed to survive and mitigate damage when they are doing appropriately sized pulls relative to their gear level.
They are not supposed to pull an entire wing of a dungeon plus the boss and solo it one week into an expansion while their dead group members watch.
Why can’t tanks get this distinction?
Tuning tank damage taken on m0 is dumb. If this turns into another kite fest in m+ it will be awful.
maybe they tuned it with testing on m+ also?
I’m sure they got a test build with keys going and seeing it is still too strong.

Well, I try to slow down, and my DPSs are doing GOGOGOGO. I am like, okay, we pull more.
We need a better setup where I can grab enough mobs while the DPS can survive better.
The amount of threats I need to create needs to be solved as well as I need to dots up.

Yeah their solo target damage is lacking and their aoe damage takes a bit to wind up. Mythics unlock this week and I doubt there will be many people chomping at the bit to bring along Evokers. Hopefully I’m wrong, but I haven’t been so far.
Reducing healing passive, increase damage - can’t have any fun in this game.

You would be right if the tanks did that in M+, the problem is that we are not playing M+ yet, doing that nerf looking at what is done in a normal mythic is absurd
Everyone’s experience is different. I don’t mind gogogo except when it’s the start of an expansion, I’m still leveling my main and hitting the dungeons for the first time. Tanks I was dealing with seemed to think that everyone the first week is going to know what they are doing and can keep up in dungeons they’ve never been in before. They didn’t even have the courtesy of a “everyone ready?” No they would just take off and keep going deeper and deeper all the way to the boss. That isn’t how dungeons are suppose to work. No player should be able to pull that many mobs and survive, I don’t care what level the dungeon. It never worked that way before this expansion and devs were right to change it.
