Guardian

• Health and healing received gain from Mastery: Nature’s Guardian increased to 70% (was 50%).
• Barkskin cooldown reduced to 45 seconds (was 1 minute).

I don’t know what that 70% and 50% are or represent but the barkskin change is great and any buff to bear mastery is pretty cool too.

Restoration

• Developers’ notes: We are happy with the reception of Restoration in 10.0.7. The specialization’s healing power is above our target in all content, so we’re adjusting it in line with our expectations.
• All healing done reduced by 5.5%.

We made it good so people started playing it for once, yay! Now that people invested all their time into it, screw those people. We’re changing it back. Play our new healer or you suck.

The Shaman healing nerf is horrible. I’m finally on par with all the other healers in our raid and now you want to drop it 5.5%!

All of these balancing are entering 10.1 and any future balancing is exactly that. Plus, this game needs to be consistently be balancing after how many or so expansions without proper tuning or balancing so yeah.

Well considering Ret Paladins were 2-shotting and running around immortal in rated arena over the past month… Once again, I hope this will be enough. Thousands of people lost hundreds of rating over imbalance since 10.0.7, and the other way around…

• Developers’ notes: We’re toning down the value of Immutable Hatred as it’s providing a significant boost to single target damage in PvP while being difficult to avoid. ok so is there compensation for our single target being too high? like maybe its moved into another talent or ability? i fail to see how this is considered too good when melee do as much as they do right now and not even just ret pallys.

Serious question. Which one of the dev (fingers crossed it’s just ONE) really really hates Hunters with a passion? Did they lose 1v1 against a Hunter’s Pet only while Hunter was just sitting afk? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You know how to tell the developers are absurdly out of touch with the actual players? Watching them nerf the same spec 3 times in a week.

I really hope they don’t keep at it. Balancing should not occur mid-season. They need to figure things out before the season goes live, and whatever’s good, leave it good so people can level that up and enjoy it.

Hopefully you measure what the target “power level” is in 10.1 with these god awful set bonuses you’re giving us.

I also want to understand these measurement logics by which you buff the spec 8%, and 2 weeks later nerf it by 5.5%.

DEATH KNIGHT

• Unholy
  • Developers’ notes: At high haste levels it was possible for Summon Gargoyle to lose casts of Gargoyle Strike. To help remedy that we are reducing the cast speed of Gargoyle Strike to 2.5 seconds (up from 2 seconds) while increasing the damage done to compensate for the slower cast time. We are also making some targeted tuning adjustments to Unholy to increase their damage outside of their 3-minute cooldowns.
  • Raise Dead damage increased by 10%.
  • Army of the Dead damage increased by 10%.
  • Scourge Strike damage increased by 20%.
  • Clawing Shadows damage increased by 20%.
  • Death Coil damage increased by 10%. This does not affect PvP combat.
  • Soul Reaper damage increased by 15% Unholy specialization only.
  • Gargoyle Strike cast speed increased to 2.5 seconds, up from 2.0 seconds and Gargoyle Strike damage increased by 25%.
