At least in the priests case I can say their single target is highly superior to address the damage. I know there is definitely issues for others as well. I have an easier time on my priest but they are just mid.
Exactly right. Hopefully bliz understands this. Lol
Nah that 1s block increase post wog is totally going to fix prot
True. And the reason is not because of shaman healing throughput. Its because of utility. Priests need an interupt. There needs to be incentive for bringing other healers. As it stands, shaman utility makes the decision a no brainer for most groups.
People calling for rsham nerfs… how would you do it? Remove abilities? Because thats what would need to happen. Instead, buff other healers so that theres an upside to bringing them.
NGL. That thought has crossed my mind.
Feels like Blizz are always finding ways to ensure they have an adversarial relationship with their playerbase. Look around, and other games are not doing this. It’s just stressful. I want to play games to have fun, not to battle with the developers (who don’t actually listen to the community anyways).
If Blizz want to make changes of this scope, it wouldn’t hurt for them to give a paragraph to explain how/why they made such a change. Because, in the case of Hpal, there is no obvious reason aside from a niche interaction in heavily stacked raid group.
Thats what happened to shadow priest in DF.
The dungeons were almost tailor made for our utilities so they started nerfing our damage to the point it was detrimental to other forms of content instead of changing mechanics in the dungeons.
Welcome to my world
Self healing nerf still nukes tanks in Rated PVP. All the buffs in the world wont matter with PVE changes influencing PVP.
San layn should have the option of venthyr cov ability instead of blood beast. The blood beast is derpy, it would be much cooler to have a swarm of bats around as dk and ability to teleport a short distance, or scare enemies random times as bats get to them, or make enemies drop blood on the ground and draw it to you then explode, there are so many cooler less clunky things that can be done.
Shadow: When Shadow Crash hits four or more targets, its cooldown is reset.
Hey, these are really interesting changes. By chance do you guys consider pvp win rates when it comes to making pvp balancing changes?
It seems like a few choices are out of the ordinary when consider this:
- Unholy DKs do a lot of damage but they aren’t winning at med to high levels
- Ferals are hard to stop and their burst is considered the highest in the game.
While the changes for SP that are coming are awesome, I just thought I’d point out my opinion on Depths of Shadows compared to Voidwraith in the hero tree. I don’t see why anyone currently would choose Depths of Shadows, because Voidwraith is so much better than it. The only exception I can say is if you run full mindbender guild, then Depths of Shadows would be ok, but this would definitely not be meta
Good God, what did a BM Hunter ever do to the devs? There is literally no shot getting a M+ or Raid invite with these nerfs.
I think Shamans should just remain untouched… Blizzard overnerfs sh!t, instead of just bringing things up to meta. Druids need stronger HoTs, Priest need better Utility “BATTLE REZ and INTERRUPTS”, poison cleansing would be nice as well ffs, Pally needs more AoE burst.
In M+, it feels like I can barely move up health bars when people aren’t doing mechanics or if things go wrong with a pull, outside of cooldown burst windows. Holy Light, Flash of Light and Holy Prism need some love and buffs so to see another nerf is really demoralizing. I don’t want to chase FOTM like I have in previous expansions, I like playing my holy pally.
Poison Cleanse Totem could go to a two minute CD. For a spec with a curse dispel, ranged interrupt, offensive dispel, lust, free self-rez, baseline travel form, and 2+ extra movement abilities, making the AoE poison cleanse that’s ready for every single poison event that specs who’ve always had poison dispel can’t approach accommodating as well would be a thing.
That’s if you don’t want to touch the generally higher AoE throughput at the cheap tradeoff of emptying out your mana bar for it, which holy pally simply cannot do if it wanted to.
I am so sad. I am a 2685io MW and I cannot get into groups because I am simply not a resto shaman. I am even getting spam declined for 10 keys that I have timed 11s on. I don’t understand. I spend more time waiting in LFG applying to keys than I do actually playing the game that I love.
I don’t enjoy shaman play style, but at this point it seems like it is the only option. Either than or find a new game to play until they fix these issues.
I truly feel bad for H pallys - they did not deserve this.
Blizzard - Sabrina Carpenter voice please, please, please make things right. I just wanna play!
Last I checked, the first Paladin healer on the M+ leaderboard comes in at 42 (Ellesmere) and the next is 130. It’s a sea of blue, though there are more priests, pres, and monks mixed in. But clearly, that’s too much Paladin representation. Best we take 5% off their throughput. /s
Benighted decision. Simply thoughtless. Punching people when they’re already struggling.
Meanwhile, where are the people in raid clamoring for Paladin nerfs? Where are they just so great that their entire performance everywhere (in PvE) cannot be tolerated to persist at its current level? And how is it not utterly obvious that this is 100% due to Herald of the Sun tuning???
Are we playing with the same talents? Voidwraith locks you into picking mindbender, generates less insanity, and procs much less healing from essence devourer. I don’t see why anyone would bother with voidwraith when deathspeaker + depth of shadows is so strong.
Interesting I didn’t know it did less insanity gen or less procs
Omgosh this is nice, I had no idea it worked that way with the depts and deathspeaker synergy together like that! Tyvm
Totally agree
