This is a brilliant development, if there is no dislike button, then everyone is happy.
They removed it a few years back because apparently we were using it inappropriately.
People pressed this button too often, they thought about how to fix it and decided to just remove the button, this is a brilliant move)
Can be said going the other way too, that pvp players get jerked around because of PvE changes - should just be separate I agree with the way you are feeling though
I just tested today. My BM Hunter does the ~same dps as my ~equally geared prot Warrior, and ~half what my Vengeance Demon Hunter Tank does. I don’t play her any more. Fire a few shots, out of focus, nothing to do…dps plummets. Pointless to even play.
Disclaimer: I am NOT a “good hunter” any more as I gave it up after the stupefied pet changes in Cata/Panda? But I am not a newbie-pleb either and should out DPS my Tanks without even trying.
I don’t understand a lot of decisions when it comes to Paladin changes and balancing. Ret spec is already in a bad spot regarding the dps/utility combo, it certainly don’t need any more nerfs.
And why change AS giving HP to prot if we can still keep SotR buff at a 100% uptime?
Also, when are you fixing bastion of light charges consuming divine purpose procs?

Ive changed my stance a bit…
After time to process here are the changes we need.
WOG:
Return WoG to CD and bring off GCD, with SotR decreasing said CD by 2-3 seconds, maintain Free cast proc.
AS - bulwark of Order:
Needs a buff… Increase healing by 100-150%, of give flat %HP on top of Att% shielding increase. Right now… on Beta, I get a 2.5k single target absorb shield with base health of 375k HP, on multi-target I get 15k absorb shield. It caps at 30% of our max health… but only provides .7% – 4%. Enemy damage will auto attack higher than this can shield.
Paladin self-sustain feels bad.
Seraphim:
bring down to 30 sec CD.
HP would be damage vs mitigation priority. No need for AS to give HP keeping tight control over SotR uptime. Class wont feel clunky. Self sustain wont be locked to HP and class will have some control over its survivability.

WoW’s Class Balance team has to be the worst group of “AAA” developers. I wish I could see the amount of times they changed the % damage of Mortal Strike in the game’s existence. Failure appears to be 100% acceptable.

They do tuning changes throughout expansions, usually on major patches, but occasionally they hotfix things in on tuesdays if something is not working as intended.

You guys have too many multipliers on this.
You increased the base damage so that it doesn’t hit like a noodle but now the top end using dance macabre kills people in a global and a half.
Change some of your % damage modifiers into things like “20% increased damage in PvE and removes magic beneficial effect in PvP” so you stop introducing 1 shots into the game every patch.
Like, The Rotten is fine in PvE as is, but remove the bonus damage on your next shadowstrike in PvP and make it so your next shadowstrike removes a damage reduction effect. This will make it so those 80k-100k shadow strikes don’t happen as often.
yea those rogue changes, whoever thought it was smart to have sub rogues globaling people 100% of the time. /clap
was watching pikaboo’s stream for 2 hrs, every single person he got an opener on in 2v2 got globaled.
