Brewmaster uses unique mechanics that really can’t be balanced. Aside from guardian and prot warrior, which are the two original tanks that the game originally was designed around, all the other “tanks” are either OP AF ( prot paladin) or weak ( the others.).
What about giving Unholy some ACTUAL DAMAGE outside of cooldowns? And un nerf Bursting Sores and epidemic so we are actually desirable in m+.

To add to my previous post - I see the that this sentence completely ignores DH’s. None of this makes us competitive in even getting to mid dps levels, nor makes us any more desirable for top end M+, nor fixes our glaring issues. So this almost seems like a lie or being extremely obtuse.
it is a lie, because it doesn’t even do anything for them pvp as an annotation to what you said, they have clear biases and blatantly lie to the community
DH is complete garbage
That’s what I’m saying. UHDK really has nothing going for it at this point. We even suck in PvP, and that piddly little buff to festering wounds isn’t going to help much. Our damage was already meh before having our diseases and death coil gutted to appease the bottom 1% of players.
UHDK’s ladder representation went from abysmal to virtually non-existent after that ill-fated tuning pass stripped away what little killing power we had, and our M+ representation is, to put it bluntly, trending in that same direction very quickly after numerous “tuning” patches failed to give us anything.
Is this 15% more damage than it is currently doing (333.5% pvp modifier), or a 15% addition to the pvp modifier (305% pvp modifier)? First is 15% more damage, second is 5% more damage.
I wish PvP modifiers were more transparent.
This is a bad example, because I was a level 70 DK in a T-3 delve, but it seems my death strike crits higher and IT is providing more healing, which would make blood Dk more robust, which is probably what they intended.
Considering their hate-(word for erection redacted to appease silly forum limitations) for DKs - and seemingly UHDK in general, judging from the last decade or so - I’m going to go out on a limb and say any buffs are going to be done in whatever way is the least beneficial.
Apparently, DK isnt very good in smash bros either.
Which is why the upgrade tracks shouldn’t even exist.
We used to have 13 item level gaps between difficulties without having to grind 600 gilded crests to only end with…still a 13 item level gap between hero and mythic track gear.
Also people could just raid for their gilded crest farm if they don’t want to do keys

So you just want warlocks to be somewhat effective in MDI runs?
Why not make havoc last for 1 min or until the mob dies? Why do we have to choose between diabolist ST vs Hellcaller AoE which requires half a dungeon pull?
Why aren’t we like the other classes that can pull 10m aoe then a steady 1.5m-2m ST as needed?
Why are the only utilities we have brez, cookies and gate? I’ll trade cookies for a fel lust/hero so i can get into M+ groups.
Why is our biggest CD only effective for AoE? I wish we had the old soul burn back.
Why do you think this class is fine as is? I don’t understand. Triple DPS spec being outgunned by prot pallies in AoE. Out maneuvered by literally every single class unless we can pre plan a route. And conflag being the only instant cast making us completely useless while moving unless we spec into shadowburn? Mages have utility, lust, can burst while moving and jumping around, blink, stuns and interrupts for days, ice block and teleports. Dont forget high AoE and ST without having to completely change talents.
Really, really consider the imbalance here. Get rid of our summoning stone if you must, its not that big of a deal besides getting slow people where they need to go faster. We need more dps. We need an interrupt that doesnt require a specific pet (and on a nearly 30 second CD) and we need more class utility besides situational gate skips and even more situational brezzes.
it does feel a bit whiplash-y. 11.0.5 launched a month ago today, October 22nd. I’m interested to see how the reduced armament procs interact with the hero talent Laying Down Arms to reduce the CD of Lay On Hands, which had such nice (very powerful) synergy with Tirion’s Devotion and Light’s Revocation. (also thematic to me because Tirion is boss).
But I can’t deny how strong we are.
I see brewmaster is getting the usual amount of attention
The devs only got as far as Brew before calling it a day.
Can Unholy DKs get some love, we are not doing very well right now. Our single target isn’t great and in order to get AoE capability we have to sacrifice single target damage.
If I need a healer I’ll add you and let you know when I get into M+. Not on this character though.
