Class Tuning Incoming – June 27

Thats exactly what i said to myself Killshot doesn’t even do .5% of the overall damage done on an encounter. They could have buffed Killshot by 1000% and it might start to be valuable as a buff. Just gotta put it up there so they can say they buffed BM hunter lol

Yea once again the paladins get ignored. Everything mentioned up above got buffs. Next time they mention paladins it will be to nerf them once again. You gonna get the nerf bat swung at you full force once again Robo and my pally too. The second they find out I can actually DPS enough to place top 19 out of 20 they will nerf it to where it cant even dps its way out of a wet paper bag.

None of these changes are Demonology specific, or if they are it’s very unclear. You are also drastically impacting Destro and Aff with these changes. Agreed that Demo needs tuning, that is a spec-specific issue. Please make these adjustments Demo only or reduce their control/dmg output in PvP.

3% buff is nothing but a token effort to avoid fixing anything. Im completely over trying to find a melee spec I enjoy only to find it perform in the bottom 4 with very simple fixes that the class communities beg for but get stiffed with these minimal aura buffs that change nothing.

The funnest single most important thing in the game is the damn specs you play. It doesn’t matter how good m+, raids or any other content is if you’re stuck with boring and or sub par spec.

These buffs are only about a total 2-3% increase. Still gonna be low on the ST dmg, because they keep buffing our builders and not our spenders. I’d rather have a +6% all damage abilities than 15% to demon blades.

you forgot this part

Please…

Can these changes be delayed until the 10.1.5 patch? That seems like a good breaking point / soft reset in the season compared to a change randomly in it.

Lol cat feels like a sentient dumpster, I doubt that 3% is going to do much.

Could y’all please focus on adjusting MM’s damage profile so it isn’t so massively strong into cloth/leather, but decent into plate?

I feel like y’all should be buffing MM’s bleeds and magic damage, before you buff Aimed Shot and Rapid Fire in PvP.

This just makes MM overkill against classes like Mage, while not addressing their squishiness into classes that give them real issues, like Plate melee.

Looks like somebody forgot to bring feral pvp survivability and healing up inline with every other hybrid in the game - or even just boomkins

Yeah, priests are fun. Let’s nerf them!

The marks changes are better than nothing but for M+ it will be about 3.5% overall damage. Marks is a lot further behind than that.

Gotta wait until July 11th for some reason. :frowning:

I don’t think these changes will meaningfully improve the Resto Shaman tier set in raid.

Currently, the Tidewaters 2pc typically does around 50-60% overhealing in raid. Increasing the amount of healing it does by 40% will mostly just increase the overhealing. The problem is that it isn’t doing useful healing, it’s just piling healing on people who have my Riptides and probably are already healthier than the average player who does not have my Riptide.

The Rainstorm buff is far weaker, however. Currently, Rainstorm does not meaningfully contribute to our HPS; it’s perhaps 1-2% of our overall healing, given that it’s a 4% or so buff that’s active for 6 seconds out of every 12-20 seconds depending on how good we are at Healing Rain uptime. Buffing the uptime a bit will therefore increase our overall HPS by considerably less than 1%. This change is meaningless, and the set’s 4pc will continue to underperform.

Oh, and one more thing: please change it so that Cloudburst stores healing done by Tidewaters!

Oooo a buff to MM damage.

It’s just because it shares the same Spell ID as MM’s Kill Shot so you buff one the other gets the buff as well. It wasn’t really meant as a buff to BM they just had to add it to hotfix notes since it will effect BM Kill Shot as well.

Are they really going to neglect Ret ST here? this is insane lol
