How did shamans catch a flat healing increase and Holy Priest get large targeted buffs but Holy Pal still one of the worst spot healers in the game not get a single healing tunning nob turned?

Or DK feedback. The DK community has lost its mind trying to explain to blizzard how their damage profiles are fundementally flawed and bad-functioning. Nothing will ever be done about it.

The games worst m+ spec remains dead : Affliction. Is there going to be anything positive done to it once this expansion? The bottom third of the talent tree is a joke. Soul swap having both a cd and a shard cost is a joke. The ramp up time needed to do passable damage is a joke (and to what benefit is the ramp?). Agonizing corruption should be replaced with doom blossom at the top. Soul swap should be baseline, shorter cd and better.

The fact the dread touch/doom blossom choice node has been in the bottom of the tree as a capstone is such a slap in the face no one warlock player would think blizzard doesn’t actively hate this spec.

It’s become laughably sad

So uh… it’s tucked in the PvP section but doesn’t say “in pvp combat” like everything else does.
Is this an oversight or did someone stick this in the wrong section?

We’ve had the same class lead for years, conveniently the same time all our problems started to bubble over

This was a big perk to being a Holy Paladin in PvP, as their passive anti-magic defensives are non-existent. Watch a Demon Hunter kill a Paladin every other stun… =/

Hopefully that can be taken into consideration.

I assume you guys are just waiting to do a bunch major changes to enh all in one patch and that’s why you haven’t shown us any love yet.

There really should be a harder look at balancing classes for Mythic Plus and Raid. Not just damage but self sustain. Hunters do great damage but they are very squishy and tend to die a lot because of limited options in their kit. They are forced to rely on externals from their healer or tank (paladin) to survive most high level keys. Why are Mages and Warlocks exceptions to this? Heck, even Monks and Rogues are better at living than mail wearing classes. That doesn’t make any sense, armor does nothing in this game because almost no abilities in mythic plus do physical damage this season.

Shamans got a VERY slight buff to their Elemental Warding talent which helps very little to one shot mechanics. Not to mention the buff was ONLY GIVEN TO ENHANCE.

I play both Elemental and Enhancement at a pretty high level in mythic plus and raiding and I am literally forced to play a healer trinket (Leaf of the Ancient Protectors) in m+ to survive most mechanics throughout the dungeon. Why not bring back Shamanistic Rage? Give it a 20% DR like it used to have and still be usable while stunned. Shaman is pretty much only missing one extra small defensive to be able to survive in the high keys. Earth Elemental gives us great health but IT DIES INSTANTLY. It gives no value there when that happens, and its on a 5 MINUTE cooldown. It just feels dumb to even have the talent sometimes.

Elemental Shaman for instance still has one of the worst abilities in the game, I’m talking about Earthquake here. Sure it was buffed by 50% recently in a patch, but a 50% increase of something that was almost doing nothing to begin with is negligible. It did MAYBE 5-8 percent of our overall damage in mythic plus, depending on the dungeon. Now it does maybe 10-13 percent if you are lucky and your tank didn’t move out of the Earthquake’s you placed down. Most of our damage is coming from Lava Burst and we are essentially target capped at 6 now because of that. That makes no sense, Earthquake needs another large buff if you aren’t going to redesign the spell.

Just look at the Spec trees for other classes and see what interactions their “Special AoE” ability has with talents. Earthquake has ONE which interacts with our SINGLE TARGET spenders. Echoes needs a redesign because of all the resources you use building up to an Earthquake that then gets little to no value because the tank is “forced” to move out of it or doesn’t even notice it on the ground to begin with. A great idea would be to have Earthquake work like Mind Sear from Shadow Priest’s, or have most of its damage upfront then trail off, like an ACTUAL earthquake dose.

Idk, just venting frustrations at this point. I am sure there is some useful information somewhere in that rant I just did. Thanks.

It still blows my mind that affliction was completely ignored. How does that even happen? The set bonus does NOT work as it claims at all and the ramp up time with the MASSIVE dmg output happening right now is sad at best

Interesting to see enh dies in PvE too.

This isn’t even remotely close to what the problem is with Holy…

I would love to know what “data” they looked at to come up with half of these changes. They’re WAY off base with some and others are 100% ignored and passed by

Cause I mean. As resto I will take em. But I was expecting those and ele ones.

Is this meant to be Final Verdict or Templar’s Verdict? Pushing the gap between FV and JV further doesn’t seem intentional?
