I agree, it’s like tossing a hand grenade when a knife would do the job! This has pretty much made us irrelevant in PvP and they are choking us out in PvE as well. Sick of this nonsense!
still 70% less effective than Spell Reflect, even after the buff
Also WHY IS THIS STILL ON GCD
Shhhhhh…
Ah, good to know. Yeah this is turning right back into the burst meta, probably not gonna stay long in DF.
The back and forth is getting crazy.
Holy Priests got a -10% hps nerf before the expansion and now they’re giving us a 3% buff on-top of an extra 5% leech talent in 10.0.5 to basically revert that nerf.
Resto Druids are 15-20% higher than everyone else atm and they keep getting 5-8% buffs every week. You literally can not get anything more than green and blue parses with a Resto Druid in your group because they snipe all the healing.
Ele shamans need to be buffed in terms of healing, cuz one the one hand, thay cannot freecast healing wave vs a melee cleave and on the other hand healing wave base healing is actually useless even with 5 talent points to buff it 85%. Besides earth shield plus healing stream totem do not save you if your healer is under cc. Movility is better than other expansions but for all classes too, so it doesn’t make any difference
10.0.5 was announced with a tree overhaul and giving disc 2 charges of pain supp amongst other things
Interesting, dev notes seem to counter that supposition.
Actions speak louder than words.
The change is deliberately applied to both PVE and PVP. Not PVP only.
If it was truly for PVP only, then they’d have applied it for PVP only.
Because no one’s ever made a mistake, right? So if it was meant to be applied to both, why even mention that it was specifically applied to pvp?
You phrase this as if their actions are irreversible.
It is.
Sure but I would take their word over yours. No offense.
You do you.
But this isn’t up for debate. It is literally in writing.
The change effects PVE and PVP.
It’s also in writing that it was meant to be targeted at PVP. I will do me, thank you. Your comment still fails to address why the change affects both when they’ve stated that it’s meant for one.
It is not my job to do that. Is my text blue?
I am merely telling you that it does effect both.
It does not say it is only meant for PVP.
It states the change was source from over performance in PVP, but they don’t mind slapping it for PVE too.
Then why are you acting like it is? I asked a simple question, mostly rhetorical because I don’t actually expect it to be answered, but you’re not really accomplishing anything here.
No, you were being “smart”.
That’s a cool opinion bro, feels like you’re trying to be “smart”. Don’t know why you feel the need to reply to my comments with worthless fluff and non-information, but I appreciate the attention nonetheless.
Very frustrating to see week after week of DH nerfs. Agreed with them being OP at the outset and needed nerfs but we were finally competitive in PVP and just barely mid-table in PVE and we get another nerf to the Hunt? Next time, start low and buff them. Depressing to see them slide back to Shadowlands non-playability with potentially more nerfs in 10.0.5?
Assuming you mean Calcified Spikes?
