It is actually mind boggling how many tuning passes go by without a MENTION of any of the THREE warrior specs; Arms sucks, prot sucks, fury is moderate ST and good low target cleave, but falls off hard in upper M+ pulls this season due to both target cap and lack of utility. Please, buff our ST, remove WW cleave capping at 5 (give it the same treatment as basically EVERY OTHER SPEC, goes down after 8, and nerf it’s % spread), just rework Arms and Prot. Completely. Please.
Mage buffs are omegalul by the way, they truly are the main character in WoW.

Can someone explain why everyone wants Aug nerfed to the ground? Actually serious question. They buff everyone in a group so wouldn’t that be beneficial? Instead of making them useless by nerfing them?

At the end of the day it’s still a spot in the group someone else can’t occupy. The spec is positioned exceptionally well for 5 man content without even talking about its damage output because of its survivability, utility (AoE stops), and ability to increase the HPS of the groups’ healer. Add to that the fact we know support hooks for the spec are broken so it’s incredibly hard to judge what the output of the spec actually is, we just know it’s more than what’s shown.

I feel like for this then, they need to just pull the ripcord and make 5 man dungeons 6 man dungeons with the 6th slot a support spec and create more support specs like Aug for each class, then make dungeons harder or something. Monk or rogue could have a bard spec etc.
Similar happened with Guardian. Our aberrus set increased Raze damage by 20%. Then they nerfed Raze by 8% instead of adjusting the set.

That’s a pretty drastic and fundamental change that, judging from the roadmap we have, is out of the scope of the next expansion and arguably even the one after that (Though that’s a reach).

14% of the characters that have completed 25+ have a Havoc. That’s 5% more than the second highest, Aug.

We dislike aug because it’s a DPS spot gone, effectively ensuring any not completely omega busted S tier spec is even LESS likely than before to get an invite.
DPS used to be 3 spots, it is now 2; aug is required beyond a certain key level.

Yes, sorry I was speaking from a PvP perspective in that they haven’t received any substantial attention since the dawn of man. You PvE folks are a strange breed to me.
If I understand these notes correctly, Blizzard’s tuning buff for Arms warrior appears to be … checks notes …
1.) Buy WoW Token for Fyrakk carries
2.) Get Legendary 2-H drop or repeat 1 until bad luck protection kicks in
3.) Buy Wow Token(s) for legendary materials
4.) Get Legendary 2-H Axe
5.) Finally have the damage buff needed to run Fyrakk/Keys without paying your way.
Do I have that right?

We still underperform to most melee, on the flip side a good ret pumps, a casual ret is having a hard time
The best part about balance patches is coming to the thread to read people losing their minds crying about how their class is now unplayable and broken because it got nerfed by 5% or something
