nerf to survivability and forcing the spec to actually hard cast while getting railed is an absolute downs change

also they nerfed the dot damage which is even more downs

spec is dead now overnerfed

honestly good zug won’t let you get it off so i play a diff build that doesn’t use it when facing double zug. might just be a l2p issue on my end tho. but i’ve been messing with affi more than demo latley not a fan of current iteration since the rework of demo i miss my meta version of demo.

The damage was never the issue.

Dark Pact and Soul Leech are overtuned. Doing half of their healer’s effective healing due to absorbs being to high has been the issue for quite a while.

I dont think its a dead spec at all but I think its a far less fun one. The things that makes spriest crazy strong was never really in its damage.

3 Schools of CC (4 technically with root but soft CC), insane survivability, void shift, power infusion on allies, leap, mass dispel, min, mindgames on goes, dispel protection


All these things still exist

Like Im not sure blizzard understands that a large majority of spriest/demo popularity as casters is because they can stand up against melee cleaves compared to the others.

Look at the other casters, balance/devastation die to a hard sneeze, non arcane mages dont have the crazy burst wombo and effectively do nothing outside of go moments which in itself is not that great in a solo shuffle setting

they didnt touch dks at all and inadvertently buffed tyrant so now its just gonna be a dk/demo meta again

have fun playing sp hard casting into spellwarden + curse of tongues doing nothing all game

10% damage from dogs is pretty big if you know demo at all. And 400% dmg felstorm down to 150% is quite a bit of burst too.

I’m not sure what you would be asking for nerfs if not those abilities
