Class Tuning Coming June 28

Enhancement shaman once again survive another nerf.

They don’t do tuning for low level PvP.

Yeah bro, enhance deserve nerfs again right? this has the great logic of shadowlands, in beta, players asked for better defensives for enhance, developpers ignored and never responded to the players feedback, then gave us healing capacities then spent the entire xpac nerfing the healing abilities and gave enhance nothing in return

also, the aoe cap has been a huge mistake, first you put a cap on nearly all the specs but for reasons, some spells were not aoe capped wich made these specs top specs in some of the content, then one day, you remove more spells from the aoe cap while letting some being capped and create another problem, either you put every spell under a cap or you remove the useless cap

also, players who play certain specs because they dare loving to be for example feral druids should not feel ashamed for playing their spec, instead of nerfing the best specs, WHY DON’T YOU BUFF OR CHANGE THE UNDER PERFORMING SPECS INSTEAD, THAT WAY YOU DON’T FEEL FORCED TO REROLL IF YOUR SPEC GETS NERFS AND OR PEOPLE COULD PLAY THE SPEC THEY WANT AND PUSH CONTENT

Awesome changes!

Have to agree, hard core nerf at this point seems destabilizing and inept. And it raises some other questions.

If this is too much, what’s the deal with survival?
If survival is OK, why is this too much?
What are the actual balance goals.

sv hunters? You’re kidding right?

We are at the tail end of a season, at the tail end of an expansion. Can’t you just leave us destro locks alone to actually have some fun for a change?

And if we are overperforming, maybe buff everyone else so they can all have fun too? Why is it always nerfs to bring overperforming specs into line?

And this is clearly a change you don’t know the outcome of. Why wouldn’t you wait until the new season starts? Why do it when people are trying to finish pushes and this may set them back quite a ways?

Would have liked to see holy word: chastise range reduced instead of the duration. Not sure if just reducing it to 3 seconds is going to be enough for counterplay on their set ups. Would have also liked to see more rogue changes as well as cutting down more on mage tankiness & self healing.
Really glad to see craven strategem finally being addressed.

I’ve completely swapped to frost at this point. I was on the post-buff cope for a while but playing my 240 BM hunter alt and ending the dungeon with the same damage as my arcane mage was too much. Either way Blizzard will never fix our spec in a patch because the reason we aren’t doing damage are the reasons you said, which are fundamental issues that can’t be bandaged with aura buffs (the only thing Blizzard bothers doing in patches anymore).

We just have to wait for changes to the way our mastery or target cap works in 10.0, and if those changes don’t happen or miss the mark, we’ll have to wait until 11.0.

We’ve noticed some melee have to use their mobility intelligently instead of spamming their buttons to avoid being kited, we will be addressing this issue shortly.

They hate Priest class almost as much as Shaman.

Classes that matter to Blizz in WoW:
Druid
Death Knight
Druid
Paladin
Druid
Druid
Druid

No. They need to be nerfed heavily

Why? I never seen them in arena. It’s all MM and BM. BM was like every other match at 2100-2200+. Then it’s mage/rogue, mm/rogue, fury/holy, demo/holy, etc. In 100+ matches I haven’t seen a single SV. Why do you want to nerf them?

go do some keys you’ll understand very quickly.

this post isnt only about arenas. they tend to tweak differently for both anyways (notice a bunch of changes specifiy “in pvp only”)

This is still not going to fix problems for affliction, We have 1 school how exactly is drain life supposed to help the lack of armor when we cant channel it since every class has multiple ways to stop the channel.

Ya’ll had a “theory crafter” feral (who actually didn’t main feral at all) at the start of 9.2.5 yelling in your forums that everything was fine - nothing to change - feral was OP and the absolutely KING of AoE and all things M+.

I would have liked to see a little work on boomy. Our AoE has been underwhelming since starfall was gutted in 9.1. The 4-set means we have great AP generation but can’t spend it on anything other than single target. Starsurging into a pack to dump AP while I’m waiting for Starfall to come off CD feels terrible.

More importantly, why are the MW and Spriest changes only in PvP when they are struggling in PvE too? That makes zero sense.

Resto is fine until the healer’s DPS starts to be important to time. Then it’s heavily shaman and hpriest. Druids have too much setup time getting into Eclipse or building CPs to do any real damage.

The issue with specs that are crushing AoE is that Blizzard has seen fit to hard cap these classes over here, soft cap those classes over there, and keep these classes completely uncapped.

What ever happened to removing the cap all together -or- capping everyone?

This isn’t remotely going to hurt ret damage at all. If you think that conduit is the reason you do damage then you have no idea what you are doing on ret. Clear example of how blizzard has no idea wtf they are balancing and why.

They are super dominant in Mythic+ due to their AOE alongside warlocks and monks currently. We aren’t talking 5% better either, they can straight up do double the AOE dmg of some clases and 75%+ more than most. Warlocks are getting nerfed for doing that much damage, so why aren’t hunters?
