Class tier set 10.2 pretty terrible

these new tier sets man . design is poor and uninspiring , the bonus set are boring and lack luster , feels like these new dev team is extremely disengaged with the community and probably dont even play the game , my god its like everything sucks but paladin or warrior , even druid sucks now .

They really need to rethink on these people and maybe start recruiting better devs.

I quite like the DK set

They need to change the tier set from the current RNG one it is

That demon hunter set looks insane, monk set looks pretty nice too!

Wondering what the druid set will look like finished

The bonus for the HDH is pretty bad. It forces people to go back to throw glaive build. So again it force people into right side of the spec tree making any other talents not worth taking.

Priest, DK, Mage, Warlock, Monk, and DH all look great.

Dunno what you’re smoking.

Also you pick the two worst looking of the bunch to be the exception?

There’s no accounting for taste lol

Nah I think they mostly look great, except Monk, which always seems to have silly looking gear IMO.

Set bonuses look interesting, at least. Some more than others, as per usual.

Tell me you didn’t look at the Shaman set without telling me you haven’t seen it.

For looks, I think they’re all just okay. Not exceptional, but not terrible.

For set bonuses, I’m digging some of the healer bonuses.

Mage hat doesn’t hide hair and the DH helm makes tour head disappear. That’s insane to me in a good way. Can’t wait!

Fire mage good. Spriest is dog.

Agreed, for the first time in a while I looked at the monk set and thought “Oh damn” lol. Looks pretty good

I was wondering when the inevitable “I don’t like the tier sets therefor they all suck” post was going to happen.

Mage, Demon Hunter and Deathknight are probably the clear winners. But, mileage will change depending on quality of the set (norm, heroic, mythic) and what race is using it. I can see the warrior set being situationally great on a Tauren or Orc.

I think Hunters and Warlocks might have the least interesting sets out of the bunch. The showcased sets are a little bland, though they’re in autumn/fall colors so maybe they will feel nicer when we can acquire them when it gets later in the year?

Though I am kind of sad that Warlocks have been relegated to pointy/sharp spiky armor, when Demon Hunters now get all of the actual demon themed stuff. Seems like Blizzard wrote themselves into a corner, and now they don’t know what to do with Warlocks thematically.

Blizzard if you’re looking for suggestions, you should be looking at Warlock challenge armor and question why that works so well. Yes, huge horns are cool, but disjointed nonsensical, but menacing armor is cool as well. You can see portions of the armor that are being corrupted because of Fel/Void, and this works for a Warlock. We don’t need to be covered head to toe in spikes… unless they serve a purpose. What is the mindset of a Warlock? We’re the class that prepares, we’re the one’s that focus on utility in a sort of meritocratic sort of way.

I understand that a lot of our armor sets have always had spikes (or similar) but I’d love to see artists break away from that mold. Warlock sets feel like they’re getting repetitive. If you look at half the sets, it’s skulls on shoulders, skull on belt, skull on head and spikes everywhere… rinse & repeat.

Sorry, end of rant.

Based on current trees. We don’t know what they’re going to change for our talents. It’s too early for HDH to speculate the effectiveness of the tier set based on zero information about how our talents will shake out.

So all of the people who like the sets…screw them, do it your way?

Rando thinks something looks/plays/feels like garbage… hot take! More at 11 !

So, I actually agree with everything you have to say about the thematical problems with warlock mog sets. I get it and I am definitely here for it.

Your argument, great as it is, may not be helped by the fact that you’re dressed like a pirate. Your mog looks pretty good, btw.

Fair point.

Base on what the DH devs posted in discord it shows there is disconnect between dev and the players and the devs are still in their little world and does not care any feedback that’s given or want to communicate at all…

It seems he doesn’t even play DH so he doesn’t really understand DH issue at all.
