Class Specific quests

I have been playing classic again. One of the things I have enjoyed has been doing the class-specific quests. This has really shaped how I view the Shaman class; as well as gained a real respect for each of the specs in the class.

I would really like Blizzard to put back the class-specific quests or at least come up with some new quests that allow us as the players really connect with the Shaman class. I think these quests would also allow us as players to understand how Blizzard views our class as well as the direction in which Blizzard is taking our class.

I know that many of the class quests were to get some type of totem or ability. Blizzard can certainly do that type of quest again. I think more specifically Blizzard could do a quest chain where we get to explore what it means to be an Elemental, Enhancement, or Restoration shaman. They could also do a quest line where we get to interact with the elements and make some type of pace with them so we can get a buff or a weapon or something. Blizzard could give really good weapons and introduce us to the primalist where we can get a mount. The possibilities could be fun and exciting.

Could we please have these class-specific quests back? Also trainers we need trainers back.

Class quests were one of the things I looked most forward to on any new character I was leveling back pre-Cata. They provided a ton of flavor and lore to each class, not to mention unique equipment. I would love to see such quests return to the game, where they would be an excellent avenue for awarding players class-based cosmetic rewards like alternate spell visuals or unique transmogs.

All shaman should be required to do the barrens water totem quest, even alliance ones. It’s a rite of passage.

The way i see it, they kinda did that with legion class orderhall quests. I think they can and should do that in war within to unlock the hero specs

I almost hope they do something like Destiny where you unlocked subclasses (also how you unlocked an artifact weapon), but expand the questline to allow you to unlock new abilities as the campaign continues rather then having the entire tree at once. Albeit, they might timegate that and make it too big of a pita…

Im really hoping we unlock the trees like how we unlocked the weapons in legion but its a small quesline teaching you about said role by the master of said role (for example, farseer shaman leader reghar) and they give u some cool lore and then u unlock the tree at the end

Do that 3 times by 3 different prominent characters of each class. And boom fun single play content

I loved legion class order hall. Class identity is a huge part of the game and I wish they had more ways to reinforce it

Would have been nicer if 75+% of the NPC’s weren’t alliance.

I liked the story elements, not the direction I’d have gone, but to each their own. We at least appeared to be trying to keep the elements in line and on plan.
