Hey guys. I am sure everyone who loves Classic loves the Class specific quests. Before you write #nochanges, can you just read the suggestion?
I hear lot of you are against addition of more quests. When WoW came out, there were no Sunken Temple quests, they were only added when Naxx came out.
I am all for adding more class quests for the ones that lack them. But I am not asking for homogenization - every class has class quests exactly at same levels and in same dungeons. This is absurd!
But maybe, like Paladin has a class quest to forge a mighty weapon in the heart of Horde Territory, why not give Shamans a class quest to forge some other armor in Deadmines for example? I am just giving some examples, of course shamans have to walk a lot anyways, but what about other classes?
Would this change vanilla feel for you?
P.S. Worst class at the moment seems to be a priest - up until MC you are without any class quests. I have no idea how devouring plague quest works, I think we get it at the trainer right?
Paladins have a weapon quest in early levels, Verigans Fist.

Thanks for the polite reply bro. Sure, I mentioned that in the text. That's one epic adventure even though people who rush to 60 will mostly avoid it.
But adding similar quests to other classes would be great no? Priests have nothing up until MC. And I hope you won't mention that level 6 quest, which is nice, but nothing special.
Mages, Warriors and Warlocks seem to be in the best spot at the moment. It's actually a lot of fun playing them.

Oh i get you, i know you meant later ones, but anything that is "in the spirit" of Vanilla is going to have to wait, but yah these would be cool.
Oh if people rushed past that quest they would be missing out, that mace made my life much easier until I hit Badlands, plus the questline was top notch.

Yes, if I had such quest for some good staff(or wand) for my priest, I would definitely play a priest. Again, I am not saying that the questline should be similar, even the dungeon... For alliance priests maybe go to BFD? Would be interesting.
At the moment, we wait sure. But for the future, such class quests would only enrich the game.
P.S.Warrior's brutal hauberk quest was a bit off though. The reward was level 24 chest but you had to be 28+ to do dungeon with friends.

This topic is about class quests right? Class quests in Sunken Temple were added with Naxx patch.

My apology then. Just sounded like you were saying there was no quests in Sunken Temple in vanilla, the way that paragraph was worded.

No problem, we all make mistakes.
By they way do you have any idea about Devouring Plague and other racial abilities for priests? Seems weird that it's a quest but instantly finishable.
Paladin already has my favorite class quest, and at level 60 to boot. Can't forget that epic journey to get that holy charger.
But in the spirit of the question, I'm not for adding anything, though if I was forced to, then I don't see the harm if the final rank of your major buff was tied to a quest.
I know at least mages and druids had items that gave quests for final ranks of their buff (if I recall correctly), and giving everyone something like that wouldn't be the worst.

Can't say that I do. Didn't play Priest back then, and never played Horde :)
My Google-Fu doesn't seem to bring up anything relevant either. Perhaps a Priest player can tell you.

Paladins also had a quest in Westfall which I enjoyed. But it seemed that from level 25 to level 60 there was a big gap for paladins. This is what I don't like.
For priests the gap was even bigger - from level 6 to level 60.
The "hardest" part while leveling is that 30-45 bracket and would help if we had some class quests there.

Ah, fair enough. What I miss most from vanilla is class uniqueness and identity, so I would never be opposed to a change that adds on to that.
If every class had quests every 10-15 levels to unlock an ability/utility, then I'd have no qualms against it.
