Class mounts

So I never got the Legion class mounts for any class other than Druid. Can I get it now while leveling a character in Legion, or do I have to do it after reaching max level?

As long as you can still access the Broken Shore while leveling, I wouldn’t see why not. You’d just focus on your class quests, and once you finish those, you have to finish the Broken Shore quest line. I started leveling a toon through Legion, and obviously they get to go to their Class Hall. So, I imagine the class quest part should be no problem. Just unsure of Broken Shores, tbh.

Unless they specifically made parts of it inaccessible in Chromie time or something, I don’t see why you couldn’t finish it, or at the very least, knock out a large portion.

You can work on the class hall and start the Broken Shore part at 45. So not quite max level.

Some o the mount quests are a little nuts.

Looking at you Warlock and Rogue.

I reached 50 before I finished “Breaching the Tomb”, so there was some stuff still to do, but I went into the new leveling system at level 28 - if I started at 10 I might have have gotten the mount before I reached 50. All 10 of my level 50’s have their Legion class mount, although only one of them did it during the Legion expansion.

Not a dumb question. You can at max level. Not sure how it would scale when not in Chromie time though.

Just got the shaman one - at 50 the entire experience is a breeze. Completing “Breaching the Tomb” takes several hours, and then you have to complete the actual mount quest.

You can do the bulk of the class hall stuff while leveling. Not sure how the Broken Shore bit fits in with the squish.

Keep in mind that you have to do the Breaching the tomb part for each class hall mount. After a few it becomes quite annoying but it is worth it.

I really like the class specific mounts, event that silly smooh that priests got. Not sure what a smooh is but that is what the thing looks like it should be named.

the most annoying part of class mounts for me was the sentinax part, but i got all 12 class mounts during that ‘gimme’ patch where they maxed out our artifact’s concordance levels and it was semi-easy to solo the elites that dropped the beacons (or i was able to dual box a tanky alt with a squishy alt)

Agree on the Sentinax part - there are always a ton of people camping portals. Having an instant cast AoE helps.

Starting at 10 in legion I think I was 48 when I opened broken shore. (I jumped out of CT at that point)

What irked me was while doing the quest the little gems that opened the portals were few and far between, but as soon as you finished it seemed like every demon had sacks of them to drop.

and four quests after ‘Mark of the Sentinax’ we get ‘Take out the Head’ which has us go and slay three rare elites that drop the beacons

Hm. Don’t think I handled that one since my Rogue was horde.
