Anyone know if they have come up with a work around for the Silvermoon city mark you have to kill for the class mount?

it is.
Iirc there is a time wimey NPC near the portal before entering the OG eversong.
and if you are horde, there is quite literally a portal in the Org portal room basement specifically for the OLD silvermoon.
so there are work arounds, people just need to find them.

there are mounts for every class, in their respective order halls, in legion content.
