Where is the damage?
no burst
Almost every other class can walk around with barely any gear, press a couple buttons and out-damage us in pve.

Because PvE we’re doing pretty alright right now.
Other specs I can’t talk on. Not enough experience this xpac on them.
Edit: Looked at Profile, I’m assuming you are talking about Elemental! I sadly can’t comment on that spec this xpac because I played it all of 5 minutes and went back to enhancement.
Currently, to do compective damage as shaman you need to play thunder build, specially with Stormbringer Hero talent.
However, if you play fire and try to damage with Totemic as enhacement, or Farseer as Elemental, your damage is mediocre. (A pala with 20 ilvl less than you will damage better)
This may be fixed with 11.0.5 updates. I hope so.

From a pve standpoint I’m having the most fun on enhancement I’ve had in a long time. We absolutely pump in dungeons and single target. If you are struggling in dps it’s a you issue, not a spec issue.

If we are indeed talking about ele, our Ascendance is being changed in .5 and will be a huge burst CD. Right now ele wants to go Farseer and stack haste that might change in .5. The Stormbringer and Overload changes are looking pretty juicy.
(Also our damage is actually pretty good. We especially shine in aoe - Chain Lightning and Earthquake spam does a lot)
I agree the damage is good. Just not compared to ret which is retardedly over tuned. Especially considering how easy it is/the fact that it’s ranged.

It does good damage, not saying Ret got dumpstered like Fury did, but like… why is Ret getting shade when we’re doing so well even compared to them?
I’m glad it isn’t faceroll easy. I already see a lot more shamans than i use to, and they are all fotm rerollers, the sooner they leave the better.

uh, what are you on about?
I’d guess they are comparing personal experience with ret vs enhance. You can do good dps with minimal effort on ret with only a few buttons, much of which doesn’t matter if you follow the rotation perfectly. As you know, enhancements “rotation” is far more complicated compared to ret. If you mess up your opener your dps will suffer.
Its easier to be good on a ret than mediocre on enhancement.

Enh for pve is so good I’m. Putting paladin on hold as I can’t even upgrade my gear until lords know when because blizz decided to cap my runes.
Enh shaman has a superior playstyle right now for. Mythic and raids.
Enh also brings better raid buff
Insta Rez on death
Super totem utilities
Great Ae wall
Emergency tank when tank goes down
Better off heals than ret
Ranged kick
Superior cc options.
Enh this season is very good and is much better than ret
If you can manage the 10000 buttons that may or may not fit in all your hot bar spaces
And chain lightning and storm hero talent is chopped liver eh?
Enh shaman is s tier for pve.
The only drawback is you have to go Horde for an aesthetically pleasing race.
All dwarves and dranei are terrible models
Zadalari troll and upright posture orc is where it’s at.
I love it, but for ease of use, ret wins.
Resto and ele bring same buff.
You have a battle rez and an immune so you don’t have to die.
Not much is usable, poson cleanse is about it.

Not really, we have to sacrafice so much of our dps to off heal, plus you have lay for tank saves.

I wouldnt say superior, but on par.
This is much the point, ret can do better with less for most players, a lot less stress to pull off being good on a ret.

Have you checked your build against wowhead? Also, maybe try using Hekili if you don’t already
I love Enhance but let’s be real, the survivalbility compared to Ret is night and day. That’s the only thing that holds back Enhance so much.
