In lieu of a lengthy response, I will just say, I don’t think warcraft pvp is for you. But if you do think healers are gods and able to do a lot of dps you should probably play one.
Honor Level 26 isn’t PVPing a fair amount.
The guy is a rage bait troll. There just ain’t no way this guy is being genuine lol. Honor levels were added about a decade ago and he is barely in the 20s.
That you are an inexperienced participant of pvp and borderline tutorial bot and if we’re in a game with you, it would hard to decipher you from a comp stomp bot?
+1 though for not using Chatgpt for your responses like that one garbo druid.
Hunters eat mages and mages eat paladins. WoW will never be balanced.
Ah but paladins eat hunters so it’s all part of the circle of life.
My good sir, my friend. WHAT is up with these Ret nerfs in pvp and Pve only buffs for Ret while Affliction Lock gets 20% more dispell backlash damage on UA???
Ret certainly owned hunters in SL, not sure if thats the case now. Even less certain thats the case in a BG setting. With stealth on their side, hunters can wait for you to be in combat already to strike, instant cast remove BoP, instant mobility and in combat restealth if you bubble. But if you as an individual can eat hunters, you a bad man and I’m proud of you.
It happens with disc priests so what is the difference? They are more powerful than tanks lol.
I actually never said you can aggro in PVP. The fact that this is all you got out of what i said is why the imbalance and the lack of identity exists. You are the only fool I see in te chhat.
Said it for years since around Legion and the introduction of M+ but, it’s actually not Blizzards fault tbh, it’s the players, they asked for this.
People were benched for classes that could do X, so to make it fair and everyone get’s invited to play, they just gave every class X. Didn’t fix the problem though cause that other class also has Y, so they are brought to play rather than the rest. Some of the most epic whines you will ever hear took place so, everyone now has X and Y and it’s just progressed since then.
Same thing happened in PvP, Warriors used to be valued for MS, now almost everyone has MS. Everything is just a big homogenized mess, that’s why it’s hard to find any class identity these days but, like I said, that isn’t blizzards fault, they pandered to the player base and gave them what they wanted rather than just say no.
They now really need to strip back the amount that each class can do.
And Enhance and Ret still want MS(and instant mobility) or similar value tools like a healing absorb that just doesn’t allow an amount of healing to reach the target added.
MM was feeling pretty useless for the couple days their Aimed Shot MS wasn’t working, but it was fixed quickly.
Players and subsequently pvp group leaders will have preferences if specs have varying tool kits.
A player could say, I only play specs with knockbacks because I enjoy killing players that way. And additionally leaders of RBGs or queue syncing groups could say, I’m reserving X number of team spots for specs with knockbacks because we may see or we are intentionally queuing for this map with lots of knockback kill potential.
It is a farfetched example, but thats why RBGs are on life support. When RBGs were popular 30 players might apply to a LFG RBG listing when they are not the one spec the leader might except. So players get declined or left waiting to be excepted for enough 5-min time periods to decide to stop applying. Maybe they start their own listing, maybe more likely they join a pvp community and queue sync non-rated for the feeling of being on a real team, without the strong likelihood of a fair fight.
Agree 100% healers and tanks shouldn’t be able to 1v1 at all. That’s not their job. It’s ridiculous and already difficult to kill both.
Well the reverse of that is having some classes just insta lose to others like you had in classic wow.
Oh i’m a warrior ok well if i run into a mage that has even the smallest idea what he’s doing and there isn’t a massive gear disparity i just insta lose the fight effectively.
Oh i’m a palidan ok so if i run into a warlock that has even the smallest idea what he’s doing i’ve instantly lost.
Oh i’m a mage and if i run into a hunter that has even the smallest idea what he’s doing i’ve lost.
And around and around it goes.
That’s a good point! To me that’s what balance is truly about. Every DPS spec class should have equal classes to counter them. Each class should have an ability that still provides an opportunity to beat their counter class spec more effectively. You should be afraid of encountering that one class and you should feel so satisfied when you do beat them.
I also think no DPS class should have a heal and they should always rely on potions for non-ranked combat.
I think Tanks and Healer specs should be the exception in that they don’t have a counter class, they can just survive. Tanks need an AOE ability for ally protection. They should be intended for objective management in PVP.
The mage mass barrier shouldn’t be allowed, that should be a tank ability. Just my 2 cents and easier said than done.
