Hey Classic Community, while I know a lot of us are not in the beta if you have the old strategy guide, bust that bad boy out and let’s do some class guides and starter guides for some newbies. Thrall knows some of the streamers could use it right now.
Or if you already have one you know of, toss a link and let us discuss.
Also, I’m bored and just want to geek out a bit about classic.

I’m considering posting a Warrior Tanking guide as Classic gets closer.
Would like to have time in the Beta to test my memory first to nail down some details though.
I look forward to seeing what the community posts for guides as we get closer to August 26th/27th.
Does Wow head archive all of that? I know they will have to bring it to the forfront as people start needing it again for sure
There is a classic version of wow head now. classic dot wowhead dot com. I can’t put links in.
Oto’s rogue guide is the rogue bible on pservers. It may be slightly different in classic but I can’t imagine by much. The stats on items are the same.
Doubt there needs to be any guides recreated. Tis already extensive guides for all classes, all specs, and BiS gear guides set up for the phases.
Wowhead is currently looking for people to write guides.
A dude named Kargoz on youtube makes classic guides based on info he’s gathered from well known private server players.
WoWhead has a “classic” side, that has all of thottbots old comments archived (and has a thottbot theme if you so choose, but you must sign up to use it).
I’m not sure if their guides are freshly minted or if they’re ported from old guides (or a mix of both), though. They don’t have guides for everything, yet, so I imagine it’s probably more aggregating data to make new guides. At the same time, some of them may well be simple ports of old guides, so… who knows.
Most are stolen with “less than accurate edits”.

I bought the Primas Strategy guide myself back then. I have it right beside me. However that thing was already outdated on the original release since it was written during the beta. Silithus doesn’t exist in it and the only thing it has on raiding is an interview with Jeffrey Kaplan and 3-4 screenshots of Onyxia without even mentioning her name.
The eastern Plaguelands and Searing Gorge have quests though. If I remember correctly, those were the latest zones to be filled with quests.
