Am I the only one having trouble trying to think of what class they want to main? Took some days off from work going to go so hard like when I was 15 back in High School. Played a 60 warr 60 hunt and 60 rogue. Had the most fun on my warr/rogue and leaning towards an undead rogue. Then in the back of my head I want to play Shamman. Then I see a youtube video and want to play warrior… Ahhh to many decisions lol, exciting nonetheless. Not excited for layering but thats another topic.
Anyone else having trouble picking a class and what did you do to decide on your main? To many fun choices imop.

Also, GF is playing a hunter. What do you guys think is the best to play with if my GF is playing a hunter? Mainly PVP.

My first alt was a Draenai Shaman in the Boring Crusade, up until then I had 1 character which was my hunter so going to recreate him (as a her) . Pure white cat named Snowe and Rhok’Delar eventually will be the full package.

I was bouncing between warrior/priest/mage for a long time. I ended up going with the mage, since it is one of the classes I have played the least and aoe grinding looks a hell of a lot better than warrior/priest solo grinding.
I joined up with semi hardcore raiding guild that expects us to be cap in around 5 weeks, which I found daunting as a warrior but very do able as a mage. So that influenced my decision a lot as well.
The main thing I loved about warriors though was the gear just looks awesome, and with no tmog, it is a big plus. Not a fan of being forced into a dress, but at least the dresses look better on undead than pretty much any other male race in classic, which I plan to play as.
Though I admit I am still debating on whether I want to roll as an Undead male or Troll female. PVE vs PVP, but I also prefer the raptor mount and durotar start to the undeads. But then undead have better animations. The race choice for me is almost harder than the class choice, and I only have 2 to choose from lol.

I am in the same boat. I cant decide between Priest, Hunter, Warlock, or Mage. I enjoy too many aspects of all of the classes. In vanilla I had the same problem and never got to do a lot of the content because of it.
Go priest. We can never have enough priest 
I’m sold on race myself unless I play shaman ill go ORC, but for now Undead all the way! You can simply take the zeplan to durotar if you do start undead and how can you go wrong with killing someone and then using the cannibalize racial for the ultimate disrespect, my favorite!
I am having trouble also. I kind of want to play 2 classes I never played in vanilla, but kind of want to relive some times also…decisions decisions…
If I go priest it will be shadow mainly for PVP, but yes I totally agree never enough priests haha.

Same man!! I always went physical PVP I want to go the magical route, but at the same time I want to re-live those nostalgia moments and something I know like
I will re-create my vanilla lock as a casual alt but for a main, I’m really torn between Shaman and Warrior. Going to get both to 20 and then take the temperature of the guild to see if I need to tank or not.
OP: My best advice for choosing a class is to get one to 20 before you decide if it’s for you or not. By that point you have some sense of the lore, game play, and “feel” of a class without investing too much time.
