Class changes (again)

Sort don’t want this to happen. O.o anyone not see the point? Totems were always annoying (killable dots basically).

Different schools of magic? That won’t be good for most masteries!

Poisons? I forget to apply them!

I like the specs right now. They have a unique fantasy. The classes feel more generic and boring.

You sound simplistic.

Just roll a mage and roll your face across your keyboard for mad deeps!

This post shows that people will complain about anything.

More is better in this case. Sorry if it’s too complicated for you. It’s better for the health of the game overall and class identity as a whole.

More isn’t always better. Your power get’s divided by your kit. Those buffs you give out? They take away from your base power for that.

congrats 15 years you learn the abiliti to stick a magic stick in the ground again . Yeah I shaman been my main 15 years and I can’t stand the thought of totems coming back . rather they just not touch the class atm . it’s like were going backwords instead of forward wasnt that BFA problem again>

Yea I feel they are just trying to bring back classic players.

Shattering throw is my bane, not happy about this one but hopefully I get to be armed with eye for eye as baseline again to help for it.

Thank god. Looking forward to all of that making a come back.

I agree about totems. At least searing totem. Having any of them be integral to your regular combat is just tedious. But if they slap a 1 minute cooldown on it or something then it’s cool.

I am over the moon to see auras come back though.

Now if they could just confirm 2 handed frost DKs and single minded fury warriors…

If they turn it into a turret then yea. But bringing back searing totem is like just bringing back an auto attack turret : / not really that good. Maybe for elemental/ resto but no I don’t want a killable dot on my enhancement shaman.

I, for one, welcome Shattering Throw and Eyes of the Beast back with open arms.

my initial reaction upon seeing that was “oh crap” but i almost don’t care because i get my pally back to where he should’ve never changed from. so with good comes bad i guess.

At least you guys get something…

Meanwhile us DH are just sitting over here with zero depth or complexity and nothing to look forward to.

I think pruning is a red herring when it comes to trying to figure out where they went wrong with class design. People noticed they were having less fun in WoD, Legion, or BFA, and blame removed abilities.

In some cases, it is to blame. But look at like, Subtlety. Subtlety didn’t LOSE Shadowdance. Shadowdance just became weaksauce. Or Shadow Priest. Shadow Priest GAINED abilities (Void Form and related powers) but became less fun than it was as a dotting, self-healing monster in Wrath.

I mean you get to level from 10-50 now like the rest of the classes. You actually got jipped lol. But you might get more stuff to compensate probably.

I get some people feel that way, but designing around the lowest common denominator isn’t a good method. Personally I’m glad to be getting arcane explosion back. Having instant aoe dmg, no matter how small, is rather useful.

But that’s a good spell! Again they need to reconsider some of these.
